The property was lovely, my relatives were overall happy. Because it is a basement level unit the entrance way to unit must be free of all debris that can easily blow into the cove. The owner was very accommodating and helpful We are definitely keeping this property on our list for future rentals!
Place is convenient and looks great. Inside there are some quirks. Wi-Fi needs upgrades. Everything else worked fine. The host was great about responding to questions.
Three women, above the age of 50 rented this place for five days while visiting Boston for the first time. We had a great time. It was perfect with having two bedrooms, a family room and a very roomy kitchen. Wi-Fi and streaming Internet were available. It appeared to us that it was newly renovated. Messaging with the host was always met with an immediate reply. We only had trouble with the Internet, which John came to fix immediately. The only suggestion that I had to the owner was to provide a binder to include information about keeping up the house, dining ideas, suggestions for transportation, sightseeing and restaurants. This would have made the experience more welcoming. We would rent this property again if we were to return to Boston.
Everything was perfect and I cannot wait to stay here again. Easy parking, cool neighbors, easy in and out of the home. The host was overly accommodating. Thank you for helping make our trip amazing.
Modern and upmarket interior. A bit outside of the beaten track.

It was lovely for a family of four - we could spread out. Having a washer and dryer was awesome. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Boston is a tight town and the location keeps you close to everything. (I think it took us 12 minutes to get to Fenway) The beds were comfy and the couch was particularly nice to hole up on.
Negatives: The tvs were nice and big but most streaming services were unusable because of an issue with the internet service provider. The bathrooms were new and clean but the installations were wonky: wobbly toilets, towel rack and a metal shower knob that fell off whenever you turned the shower off.
The unit was beautiful and comfortable for the 4 of us. However the kitchen could be better stocked with dishes etc and we did run out of toilet paper. The pillows were very uncomfortable but all in all we enjoyed our stay and it worked perfectly for visiting our granddaughter at her college graduation.
The property was so clean and the host so responsive. Thank you.
It might help to have written instructions of what the check out process is, the nearest grocery store/good restaurants but that may be superfluous since most people have cell phones.
Again thank you for a lovely place to stay.

The place we stayed at was spacious and clean. The apartment was beautifully decorated and comfortable.
Very happy with our stay! Clean place, great for small groups, with good amenities. Owner was responsive to questions during our stay and clearly communicated all necessary info upfront.
Incredible place and very nice owner! No issues at all responded in timely manner and was very nice and respectful. The place was incredible, would absolutely recommend and rent from again!
The apartment was very clean and excellent size for my son and I. We were celebrating my son's 40th Birthday and as a Redsox fan that meant five games at Fenway. Thought we would be able to walk to games but we Ubered instead.
It was a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our time there. Vehicle accessibility was a challenge with construction and on street parking only, but otherwise very enjoyable.
Beautiful place as advertised, the only negative was the loud music from a neighboring house that went on until almost midnight. We had to wake up at 2am for early flights and the volume made sleeping almost impossible.
The apartment is beautiful. Our family of 4 was very comfortable in this super clean and well maintained property. We took Lyfts a few times, but we mainly relied on public transportation which is very accessible from this location. Overall, Boston is a public transportation friendly city. We had a great time. Thank you.
We arrived and were quite surprised we were actually staying in a sub-basement space. (Don't know what balcony they're talking about?) However, there was still plenty of light from the numerous windows and the apartment was beautiful. Super clean (which is extremely important to us) and beautifully appointed.
We're from the other side of the country so when people upstairs started being active at 6:00 am it was 3:00 for us. We could clearly hear them, but fortunately they were pretty considerate when we were there, mornings and nights.
We wanted to cook several meals, and were a little disappointed with the lack of available kitchen items. We could tell, however, with all of the empty drawers, etc. that this was probably a work in progress and we just dealt with what we had. A few small inexpensive additions (a full-size cutting board, some serving bowls, etc) would be helpful. Also a dishtowel or two instead of using paper towels for everything.
The description read +when we booked+that it is a mile or so from things in the city. That was not our experience, and when we didn't want to do a 45 minute transit commute we had to take Lyfts. Just a heads-up.
All in all, a beautiful space. Just be aware of the location and upstairs neighbors. Thanks, John, for answering the phone when I called! (Host is very responsive).

Beautiful home, however ...
This is a beautiful apartment, and it worked fine for our long weekend.
We were, however, a bit disappointed with what was Not provided in the house. We had to ask for several things for our stay (enough sheets and blankets for all of the beds, kitchen towels and trash bags) which they provided after we asked, but it was odd that we had to ask for them.
Also, be aware they are strict with who is allowed to enter the apartment. They didn't want us to have my daughter and her partner come over for dinner, since they weren't part of the booking party. We would not have stayed here had we understood this.
Again, a beautiful home and it ended up being fine, but there was more hassle than we are used to when staying in a VRBO.
