With a private pool, this home will feel like an amazing retreat! Admire gorgeous hill country views from this stunning getaway, comprised of a three-bedroom, two-bath main home and a guest house.

Worlds away from your day-to-day, this secluded setting is still only 24 miles from downtown Austin. Grill out on your huge, scenic deck, then gather round the firepit to watch the stars come out.

You’ll love the wild cherry floors, designer furnishings, and beautiful natural light. Relax and restore in one of four plush bedrooms, including the large primary bedroom with a smart TV and its own home office space.

Kick back in the sunlit great room or loft beneath knotty pine cathedral ceilings. Hours of fun await in the game room, which boasts a full-size pool table and a convenient wet bar with a full-size fridge.

Whip up delicious dishes in the sparkling full kitchen, with stainless steel appliances and expansive counter space. Extra perks include a private washer/dryer for longer stays.

Love this place

My family of 7 with 3 small children and dogs have stayed here a couple times and we will be back ! We love this property always leave feeling so much more relaxed definitely recommend. Beautiful and comfortable

Perfect cabin for our college girlfriend weekend!

A beautiful and spacious cabin for mu college friends to spread out, relax, and enjoy each other! The beds were comfy, bathrooms clean and well supplied, and living spaces comfortable with huge windows looking out on the amazing texas hill country. The back porch/deck was the perfect place to relax and enjoy this beautiful view! And then there’s the pool! Absolutely beautiful! We spent much of our time floating and talking in this gorgeous oasis. We highly recommend this hill country treasure for your family or friend get together!

Great getaway!

This is the second time to rent Dusty's Cabin and I love it so much! It is so cozy and charming and the pool is amazing. If you live in the Austin, Georgetown, Round Rock, Pf, area-- this is a perfect short drive but you feel like you are miles away!

A State of Disrepair

Property was in disrepair on many dimensions and instructions on how to access and use the amenities was poor (interactions were friendly but not effective). We were initially locked out of the property as the keypad did not work (we eventually got in from an UNLOCKED back door). There was no "information about the property and area" document (which we have received at virtually all other properties), so we had to figure out everything on our own. One major result is that we did not get access to several rooms of the property until the day before we left (locked doors suggested the rooms were not part of the rental). A portion of the back yard was unfinished (ugly, dirty). There was a pile of animal feces collected and left on the ground by the pool. Broken items included an outdoor sun umbrella (a piece of junk, clearly not in operating condition); a desk chair (that fell apart when one of us sat in it); the ice maker; the door lock. There are many porches and stairs without railings that I would not want young children or elderly people to navigate. We were in regular contact with the management, but no one ever came to the house. After all of this they gave us a 3% refund. 3%!!! And did not explain how they arrived at this paltry amount. We traveled on a holiday weekend and, in the end, they gouged us.

Great stay

The Good It was clean and well-attended. The pool cleaner came buy 2 days into our 6 night stay. The beds were comfortable for some of our Goldy Lox attendees. Seating was very good for our group of 8. The egg-chairs were exceptionally comfortable and presented a cuddle oportunity. Large tables for group meals and board games. The patio was very inviting and we spent many hours looking over the rolling green hills. 15 minutes away from a major grocery store and common fast food. The Bad/ The hot tub is included in the pictures but not in the description. I missed that bit. Turns out it's not available for guest use. It's there, but you cannot turn on the heat or the jets. The cookware is a bit scattered and incomplete (to be expected, I suppose) The pool table in the guest house is suitable for children but not for adults. Don't expect to get a competitive game going unless you bring your own sticks....and balls....and table. Vacassa support routs through The Philipines, if that makes a difference to you, I only had to call them twice for institutional purposes. All in all, a great stay. We checked out today are already budgeting to book this house next year.

Dusty's Cabin

House is spacious and clean. The beds and sofas were comfortable. Lounging on the rear deck was relaxing and the pool was great. Pool is perfect for kids and adults. Now for the not so great. The middle burner on the kitchen stove did not work, which was a mild inconvenience. The washer is extremely noisy, so loud you couldn't hear the TV or other people speaking inside the house. Unfortunately, the propane grill on the deck was rusted and had a leak, so we were unable to use the grill during our stay. The grill was replaced with a brand new grill on the last night of our stay. Overall it was a great place and the family really enjoyed themselves.

Great property, a few quirks

Great property, very clean. Amazing pool area. Same issues all the other reviews have. Disposal has to be plugged in under counter to work, hot tub doesn’t heat, washer is incredibly loud and in main area. Air conditioning in casita house a little undersized. All in all, we had a great stay. Would be nice if the items that seem to be continuous issues would be remedied.

It was a lovely property. The pool was wonderful. A little odd that we didn’t know pest control, pool, & lawn maintenance were coming during our stay, but they were in and out as quickly as possible.

Hill country hideaway

The property was great. The house was spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms were remodeled and stylish! We chose this property since it had ample space, a separate cabin sleeping area, and a hot tub with the pool. The hot tub heater did not work during our stay, which was a main reason we chose this property, but ultimately we still had a really great time here. Kitchen is stocked with the necessities you need for meals (pots pans etc.) and there are restaurants and stores nearby for easy access to anything you’d need.

Great House!

We rented this house to get out of Austin for a weekend girls trip. The house itself was great! The interior was contemporary and had a lot of open common space for us to hang out as a group. The view from the house is beautiful and the backyard was great as well. Nothing bad to say about this property. I would definitely stay there again. When we booked it, we didn’t realize that there was a main house and a guest house. It worked out great. The guest house had its own living area, bedroom, and kitchenette.

Modern log cabin with amazing views of the hill country

We had an amazing and relaxing time spending Labor Day weekend at this gorgeous Spicewood property. Easy drive to many Austin day time activities/ restaurants/ parks. The kids (and adults) had a blast every evening in the backyard pool and hot tub. Calming back yard views of the hill country and we even had deer visits everyday :-). Ample space and tastefully done up with a billiards table in the small guest house attached to the property. Vacasa’s local property manager, Kelly was there to greet us when we arrived. She was super pleasant and prompt with her communications - even gave us some tips/ activity suggestions and left us with an extra stack of pool towels to cater to the kids. Hoping to stay here again the next time we’re in Austin.
