About this property

Cozy Warm Winter "Nantucket" Cottage Getaway

For the first time we are offering our beautiful getaway for the winter months. The floating cottage nestles between the bluffs of the upper Mississippi River for an active adventure or secluded retreat. Great location for an unique romantic getaway, families, fishing, and winter vacations.

Complimentary ice fishing supplies and free bait to make your stay more accommodating. Cozy nights are perfect with our complimentary firepit, smore's supplies, and hot chocolate. Warm your hearts and toes cozied up streaming your favorite show, in front of the pellet stove that is hot like our wifi.

This floating cottage will be frozen in the marina. Although it does have electricity, it does not have running water. However, a porta potty inside the cottage, clean and flushable, hot and cold water dispenser for drinking and cooking, makes glamping nothing short of home. You will get keys to our state of the art bath houses which are located at the Harbor Store a very short walk away. The cottage has two sources of heat, electric baseboard and a pellet stove, both able to heat the entire cabin individually.

A great place for a hunting, fishing, and outdoor fun. We welcome you to bring your own snowmobiles and dress warm for those beautiful moments hiking, sitting by the campfire and coddiewompling to surrounding areas. Eagle Watching, horseback riding, sleigh riding, skiing, shopping, wineries, breweries, antiquing, and so much more are within an hour from the cottage. The cottage has accommodations for up to 6 people and has a full kitchen, grill, and everything you would need to feel like home on a cold winter day. Glamping at its finest.

Cozy and Relaxing!

We came for a holiday getaway. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner and enjoyed downtime with our family. The cottage was just as described—super cute coastal theme! Any questions we had were promptly answered by the staff—so attentive!

Best little break

I was looking for a place to spend time with my niece, a long weekend away from work and a break from winter. I've never stayed in a house on the water before and it was so nice! The first night was windy, but it was so relaxing . The waves were relaxing for me. My niece loves photography and the wildlife was amazing !. There were cute little places to eat, the bathhouse was wonderful , and the manager of the home was a happy wonderful woman who made sure we were comfortable and was always quick to respond to questions, she made sure we knew she was available at any time. . I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing place to reconnect with family and nature
