Perfect weekend away
We loved the lodge! It was perfect for a 3-day weekend in the mountains. In the mountains yet close to things to do. It had everything we needed for a group of 9 couples. We really liked that every room had en suite bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked. The outside area was perfect for a fire & enough space in 2 hot tubs for a lot of us. Really enjoyed the woods and hiking right behind the house. Would def come back!

Perfect for our large family!
This is our second time visiting this lodge and I have to say the Blue Ridge Mountain Lodge is AMAZING! It is perfect for our large family. We had 23 this time! We love that every bedroom has a bathroom. There are plenty of seats in the dining room and the kitchen is large and fully stocked with everything you might need! There are so many thoughtful touches throughout the lodge. We also loved the coffee bar! It snowed while we were there and the kids in our group loved the sleds. Also the hot tubs were clean and the perfect temperature! It’s the perfect place for our yearly family snowboard trip to sugar and beech mountain.

Fabulous Getaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! We brought a group from our church and the accommodations were wonderful. Mike took great care of us and communicated before, during and after our stay. The sledding hill behind the house was a huge hit and a big surprise! We will definitely be returning!
Excellent property. Well stocked. Excellent communication with host. Property was as described.

Our stay was wonderful!!!
We loved all the new things you had done. The new hot tubs were used and enjoyed. The labels on all the cabinets were appreciated and the children enjoyed the dishes for kids. Thank you for all the amenities. It was so nice that you provided the tea and coffee. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the littlest kids enjoyed the kids room. The game room was used a lot. We had snow so enjoyed sledding on the hill behind the house. Thanks for a delightful experience. We hope to return next year.
My entire family, 21 people ages from 2-70, stayed at this awesome mountain lodge and it met all our needs. It was large enough to feel like we weren’t on top of each other, but was also cozy and plenty of entertaining space for all of us to gather. The kids loved the playroom, hot tubs, and sledding down the big hill in the back yard. Close enough to both ski resort towns and Boone to not feel like long drives. Hot tubs were great after a long day of skiing. We cooked a lot of our meals at the house and they had everything you could think of for cooking ware, spices, dinnerware’s for all ages. This lodge helped make our family trip incredible and we had an amazing time. The host Mike is very accessible and responsive to help with anything you need.
We had a great stay and the host was more then accommodating during the stay, the kitchen has everything you need for big groups, and the house as a whole is great for multiple families kids included. Would recommend and stay again
We were a group of 8 couples and we really liked this place as it’s in great location though in mountains still close to main road and 8 miles to Boone downtown
Property had 9 bedrooms with attached bathrooms which was very important for us
Mike the property manager was very responsive
this is our second time
Strongly recommended
The Blue Ridge Mountain Lodge is a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. The ample size of the Lodge allowed all my siblings and siblings-in-law to stay in one place. All had a great time and enjoyed the many and varied activities available close by. I would definitely consider staying there again and will recommend it to others.

Spacious retreat!
We were a group of 20 people including kids ranging from infants to 10-yr olds. Wonderful stay overall. Plenty of rooms, most of them with bathrooms. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped. Coffee station was our favorite. Enough parking space for all of our cars. Cooling was good. Some overhead creaking noise in one of the rooms downstairs. Nice hot tub and fireplace area. Great location, close to multiple attractions, grocery, coffee shop, and winery.

Couldn't Be Better!
We held my parent's 50th wedding anniversary here and it was fantastic! We had a large group (22) and the beauty of this place is that it has 9 bedrooms each with it's own bathroom so each family had their own privacy which is super unique in my experience. In addition to that, we never felt like we were on top of one another as there is plenty of space/common area in the living room, deck or outside by the firepit. Access to the pool and tennis courts were no problem and the town/grocery store was less than five miles away. Mike the owner made it special for my family by having a Happy Anniversary sign and two bottles of wine to greet my parents when they came in! I'd highly recommend this place for your next large gathering in the beautiful Banner Elk.

Family of 16, 14 adults and 2 children
This lodge is a neat fun place to have family gatherings. Our 3rd year and with the new hot tubs, always something new to enjoy. The childen's room is perfect to keep them occupied until their parents awake. The family gathering area for conversations together, is perfect. Lots to do in the area, to visit and enjoy hiking, climbing and exploring.
We were a family group of 21 age 2-75. We were able to find activities in the area to keep busy in spite of the rain. Mike was very responsive to any of our concerns.

Great family reunion
The lodge was well appointed and stocked which was perfect for our family reunion of 25. The house was very functional and much has been updated! Many enjoyed the new hot tubs. I liked that there was space for us all to eat together in the dining room. The porch offered nice shade to hang.
I noticed there were two high chairs and a pack and play, although to be fair, we didn’t use them. It was nice that they were thoughtfully provided.
There was a lovely welcome basket with Fourth of July things. It was a nice touch. The owner has been very responsive and it’s been a really a great experience. We would definitely stay there again, (but our family is expanding next month and won’t all fit in the future).

With 25 in the family, this was the right spot to have a reunion. The kitchen was well equipped, and the dining room was huge. The weather was great, so most of the family went to Linville Caverns, Linville Falls, and did a float trip on the New River.
The whole house is nicely decorated. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. Having private baths in every room is a real plus. The new hot tubs are quite nice. Most evenings we were around the fire pit enjoying our time together. We made great memories at the Lodge.
Mike was very responsive to any questions we had before we arrived. The home is located in a community outside Boone off 105 - very convenient to attractions, stores, etc. This house is one of the most well-stocked our group has ever rented. It had everything we needed. It's located directly across from the swimming pool and tennis courts, which our group enjoyed. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay!
We are a large group who gathered to celebrate my father’s life on the 1 year anniversary of his passing. The host was phenomenal in his communication leading up to our stay. The property itself, exceeded our expectations! It was stocked with everything you could need. It was very clean, nicely decorated and so comfortable. There were many surprises, such as welcome baskets and a fully stocked coffee bar. We were close to so many area attractions. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property for family reunions and gatherings.
We rented this house for a school reunion of 6 friends and our families. Two adults and two kids per family. The layout was fantastic with tons of bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The girls enjoyed the twin beds w/trundles room that had a play area with a table and games. The house was well appointed and stocked. The kitchen was huge, could have used a second dishwasher. Definitely could use some more plastic/kid-friendly cups and plates. But really, there are very few things we did not have here. There was easy access to a lovely Lowe’s food store just 8 minutes away. We did the alpine roller coaster just 10 minutes away. The little kids went to Tweetsie while the rest went fishing and hiking at Julian Price park. The house was nice and comfortable, but not “fancy” so we weren’t worried about the kids knocking over a priceless lamp etc. The game room was a BIG hit! We used the community pool several times which was a good size and not crowded even during the holiday weekend. The check in and check out process were simple and not fussy. Definitely a 5 star stay, we would absolutely stay here again.
