When my husband and I visited Casa de Maya, we knew it had to be ours. From the large bedrooms, to the best location in Tulum, to the swim-up living room and rooftop infinity pool, we love this place more than we could have imagined. Our ultimate goal is to move to Tulum during US winters once our kids get a bit older but in the meantime, we'd love to share this beautiful condo with others. Casa de Maya is located in Tulum's premier residential neighborhood, Aldea Zama, which is situated between the beach and downtown - just a 5-7 minute drive from both, or a short bike or scooter ride along a dedicated path. Tulum is booming with growth and tourism, so you will likely see and hear construction around the villa. Please be aware that it can be noisy at times during the day; however, in all of our stays, we haven't experienced noise that disrupts our sleep at night. In our experience, the nighttime is quiet.

Please be aware that due to new developments, power (electricity) in Aldea Zama can be unstable. Power outages can occur and last for extended periods of time. Also, please remember that Tulum is situated in the jungle and you may see bugs! It is very normal and expected in any of the developments in Tulum for bugs and critters to become lost in your villa!

The pools at Trinity close at 10pm local time when quiet time is observed. Please remain respectful of residents and other guests by limiting outdoor or excessive indoor noise after 10pm.

Due to construction next door, concrete has dripped onto the private outdoor terrace, and it is not as beautiful as usual these days. We are waiting until the construction is finished to remodel the terrace, so we hope you enjoy a lower cost stay due to this inconvenience!

FAQ

Will you send taxis/transportation?
We can send transportation when requested. If you need a taxi between 10pm and 9am, your reservation manager must be notified before 10pm so desired arrangements can be made. If transportation is not requested before 10pm, unfortunately accommodations cannot be made.

How far away is the beach?
Moving around Tulum is quite easy if you rent a bike, scooter, taxi, or car. The nearest beach is about 7 minutes by car, and you can find a dedicated bicycle path to the beach near the exit of Aldea Zama neighborhood.

Is the pool heated?
No, the typical temperature in Tulum is 28 ° C so pool heat is not necessary.

Where is the closest market or convenience store?
There are several small markets in Aldea Zama within walking distance, and more popping up every day! At this time, you can visit Zama Market or Fresh Market, which are both within walking distance of Casa de Maya. The closest large supermarkets are about 5 minutes away via car: Super Aki or Chedraui.

Can reservations be modified?
We cannot modify confirmed reservations. We may be able to extend reservation dates if availability exists.

What guests may I bring to the property?
For the safety of our residents and guests, only guests indicated on your reservation are allowed on the property.

Can I check in early or check out late?
Contact us to request an early check-in or late check-out. Generally this is not possible due to prior/future bookings and cleaning schedules but we will accommodate if we're able.

Guest access
The entire condo is available for guests. Guests may also access the beautifully adorned reception area, lower level pool, rooftop infinity pool, and gym.

Other things to note
Both pools are accessible by building tenants only. There are less than 12 units in the building, so the pools rarely become crowded. The lower level pool is just out your front door! The rooftop infinity pool can be accessed using the stairs on the North side of the building.
