About this property

Would you like to live idyllically with a large garden and this with two families? A thatched roof house and a barn house, each newly built except for the stud frame, are available for the holidaymakers here.

The thatched roof house is located at the entrance to Eckwarden. It is 200 years old and was completely renovated in 2014, the roof was newly covered, new ceilings were installed, a comfortable oak staircase was installed and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower was built. The house has 2 separate bedrooms, one with a double bed and wardrobe on the ground floor, the other with 2 single beds in the attic. Because of the sloping ceilings, a wardrobe had to be dispensed with. The separate kitchen is equipped with high-quality appliances, stove with oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, coffee machine, thermos, egg cooker, toaster and kettle. The open living / dining area includes a spacious seating area, television and stereo. A high chair is available in the dining area for 4 people.

Haus an der Durchgangsstraße

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Haus hätte insgesamt schön sein können, da in den meisten Punkten die Beschreibung zutrifft und das Haus wirklich hübsch eingerichtet ist. Etwas wenig Stauraum für Kleidung ließ sich auch verschmerzen. Was aber unserer Meinung nach überhaupt nicht geht, ist, die Gäste vorher nicht darüber zu informieren, dass das Haus an einer zeitweilig durchaus ziemlich befahrenen Ortsdurchfahrt liegt und beide Schlafzimmer direkt an bzw. oberhalb der Straße, mit nur einem schmalen Fußweg dazwischen liegen. Morgens früh schon Trecker und LKWs und auch nachts - natürlich - keine vollständige Ruhe. Kann man von einer Durchgangsstraße auch nicht erwarten. Ich habe noch in keinem Urlaub so schlecht geschlafen. Es gibt sicher Menschen, denen das nichts macht, aber so eine Lage muss vorher fairerweise kommuniziert werden.

Super schönes Haus in ruhigem Ort

Wir (3 Erwachsene und ein Kleinkind) haben unseren Aufenthalt in Eckwarden sehr genossen. Das Haus war super schön und hatte alles was wir brauchten. Zum Strand in Eckwarderhörne ist es nicht weit und es war auch gar nicht überlaufen. Butjadingen bietet viel für groß und klein und alles ist in 10-15min mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir haben einen super entspannten Urlaub verbracht und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
