Great location !
The Vrbo was well decorated, clean and tidy. The property was within walking distance of most of the attractions. As an added bonus the French Lick Trolly will take you to everything else for free. It was a very relaxing weekend.

Perfect house-perfect spot!!
This house was the best!! Impeccably clean, very cute and well set up with 3 comfortable bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The kitchen and living rooms were roomy enough for all 6 of us but the best part was the beautiful front porch! The house is in walking distance to the hotels, casino, shops and restaurants. I’m trying to think of a reason to return so we can stay at the Toliver Guest House!

Fall Trip
House is wonderful! Excellent communication with owners Who are helpful and attentive. House furnishings are beautiful and we appreciated the fall decor. Walking distance to most everything at French Lick. House was very clean and well stocked. We would all definitely stay at this house again. It will be first on our list to rent the next time we visit French Lick.

Very clean
House was clean, beds comfortable, lovely kitchen. My husband and I and our friends are all over 80 so we found the front steps a little steep. The house across the street was being worked on and the power washer running and loud music made setting on the porch talking impossible..However that wasn’t the host fault. Enjoyed the stay very much.

Clean remodeled home at great location
Pros: Clean, remodeled, great location, good parking spot, easy check in, nice master bedroom and bath, good AC control, good owner communication, nice TV set with Roku, two outdoor sitting spaces. Cons: Smallish kitchen table with very uncomfortable chairs, we were not able to play a board game or have a nice dinner anywhere in the home. Kitchen chairs are too tall for senior citizens to climb up into. Overall this was a very good stay.

This house was perfect for us 6 girls! It was clean, beds were so comfortable, a big front porch and a covered patio for having our morning coffee. The house was close to everything too! Another big plus is Kathy who we rented it from. She was great with communicating and so friendly. We loved staying here! We hope to come back again!

Perfect Stay
Many reviews have said skip the hotel and stay here ….. we couldn’t agree more ! The location is perfect - the house is beautiful inside! Clean and well appointed for our 4 night stay. A/C works great !Nice porch for coffee in the AM - next to police and fire station and walking distance to French lick hotel and several good restaurants . Short drive to grocery and town. Kathy responded immediately to any questions. It was a perfect stay and I highly recommend Tolivar Guest House !

It starts with the hosts - great people. Then the house was spacious enough for the 4 of us and is centrally located to everything French Lick has to offer - walking distance. It was the perfect place for us to explore a new setting. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and if we ever get back to the area again we will try to replicate our experience at this same house!

Best VRBO in French Lick!
Hands down, this property is the best! Perfect location, modern, pristine, welcoming touches, beautifully decorated, well appointed.... the list goes on. The host and hostess of this home have clearly pictured themselves here and what they would want in a vacation rental. From the time of booking until our check out, they were accessible, communicative and thorough in every single aspect of our stay. Kathy and Jim, thank you so much for being so attentive and accommodating to us... you guys are AMAZING and your home is lovely!!! We will definitely be back for another visit!

Bachelor Party Long Weekend Stay
Toliver Guest House was all that we could have asked for! Plenty of space for all of us to relax, walk to the resort was more than manageable, and the entire house was extremely clean. Kathy and Jim were great hosts!

The property is adorable, had everything we needed and was as advertised. The location is perfect! It’s in the middle of downtown and within walking distance of restaurants, the French Lick Hotel, etc. We would definitely stay there again.

More than we could have imagined!
Possibly the best VRBO we have ever stayed in! Totally remodeled older home and stocked with everything! I drag along extra toilet paper, hand soap, dishwasher soap, etc whenever I rent. I DID NOT NEED any of it here! This home had everything and the owner was so responsive to my messages! I would rate this rental higher than 5 stars if I could!

March Madness Long Weekend
I rented the Toliver House for the first weekend of the NCAA basketball tourney. Invited 4 of my high school friends. All in our 60s. Brought an extra tv for multiple games. We were able to walk to the casino, make our bets, walk to various restaurants. Perfect location. Warmer weather would have allowed us the chance to sit on the huge frt porch or the patio. Really enjoyed the house

Wonderful Spring Break Stay
The property was lovely! Newly remodeled, very clean, and had everything we could have needed. It had a “just like home” cozy feeling! Can’t wait to go back and stay again. Definitely recommend 100%!
