Wonderful home, great location, beautiful view of Mt rainier in the morning from the master deck. The owners were responsive and great to work with. Definitely coming again and staying here with my family. No need to look further for a lovely stay
The house was very clean and spacious. The scenery of the lake was stunning. The host responded to messages very promptly. Would highly recommend for family and friends.
The lake house is the perfect place for family to gather - plenty of room (bedrooms, living spaces, kitchen, enclosed weather room facing the lake and expansive decking)
It is an incredible place to stay leading up to the wedding day. The place had good vibes, and the lakefront view was to die for. Everyone loved that place and we'd definitely stay there again.
My family spent a week at this property while my son played an amateur golf tournament at nearby Chambers Bay. The views from the back porch, back deck and master bedroom balcony are spectacular, overlooking Lake Steilacoom with massive Mt. Rainier in the background. Access to the lake is easy and the host provides kayaks for guests' use. The interior is nicely done with a modern kitchen and good natural lighting. The hosts were easy to communicate with and made us feel right at home. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and we would definitely stay here again.
The entire family loved our stay! Perfect views, perfect kitchen, and comfortable rooms. My sister lives 5 minutes away, will definitely look to staying again when visiting. Highly recommend.
Our stay was very nice! The house was perfect for our family, and close to our daughter’s home.
The updated kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful and the beds were very comfortable!
The views of the lake and Mount Rainier are stunning and we saw eagles every day!
The entire process was simple and our hostess was prompt in answering a quick question.
I would highly recommend this home for any occasion.
Thank you!
We really enjoyed the large deck over looking the lake and wonderful view of Mt. Rainer. The house was very nice with windowed in porch for the dining room, office and hammock. Fun! It was a great space for my daughter to work at her computer. Overall, it was a very nice and comfortable place to live for two weeks.
The property was excellent. Super clean, really comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen was well equipped.
We were 8 motorcyclists and there was plenty of parking for all our bikes. The location to lake and other amenities was terrific. Thanks Carla!
The views, cleanliness and space were top notch. We stayed over a nice sunny weekend. We were able to use the grill and enjoy family fun on the incredibly spacious deck. As it cooled off in the evening we cozied up to the fire pit.
The bedrooms were nice and comfy. The neighborhood was very quiet so we had some of our best sleep.
The host was in touch throughout our stay making sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely book again!
I rented this house to stay in with my adult children and their partners for 2 days in connection with my daughter's wedding. The house was truly a vacation house and a total delight to stay in. We had beautiful views of the lake and Mt. Rainer. Every aspect of the house is beautifully appointed with nice open spaces. No one felt cramped. Everyone had their own lovely space to be in but we also enjoyed the shared spaces and living together for 2 days.
My family and I booked this house on a gorgeous, sunny weekend. We were celebrating my baby’s first birthday with a little cake and gifts. We spent the day down by the lake (baby loved playing with rocks and putting her feet in the water) it’s not a huge access point, but it worked great for us. We were mostly just wanting to catch up and spend time in the sun. We played games on the deck in the evening, it was so much fun. The house has an awesome hammock, speaker to play music and just lots of room for games and such.
I will say I’m very sensitive to smells and there was a strong new paint smell that was a lot for me. Also was a bit bummed at all the fake plants but that’s just bc I love real plants. This is a bit nit picky, but the main/only couch in the living room feels a little wobbly/cheap - I just didn’t feel good about sitting on it, which is a bummer for a cozy weekend.
Overall though, I think the house is great and we had a lovely time.
Carla gives good home! Casa Cielo is a beautifully appointed lakeside property with a stunning view of Mount Rainier. It's a place with no secrets from previous guests (a little inside joke), and one delightful feature is that all the bedding, including the comforters, is crisp and white.
Speaking of comfort, every one of my ten guests couldn't stop raving about the incredibly comfortable pillow-top mattresses. In fact, this home boasts a whopping six beds! In the spirit of Oprah giving away cars, 'You get a bed, and you get a bed! Everyone gets a bed!'
Casa Cielo is a wonderful spot for gathering with friends. I especially cherished the tranquility at night. It was unbelievably quiet. Even though the nights were chilly during our stay (Sept.29 to Oct. 2), we spent our days basking in the sun on the patio.
At night, while our chef (who also happens to be our BFF) prepared dinner, we gathered around the kitchen island for some unforgettable chick-chat. After dinner, we cranked up the Marshall Stanmore Bluetooth speaker (it was so good that I ended up buying one on Amazon later) in the living room and danced in the open foyer between the kitchen and the living room.
The remodel of Casa Cielo is exceptionally well done, and it feels like a brand-new home. We're definitely planning to book again—next time in the summer to fully enjoy the house and the property.
Lastly (I could go on forever—I'm a writer), from check-in to check-out Carla was friendly and communicative.
Pictures do not do justice.
It was a very quiet friendly neighborhood with plenty of space to spread out. I would definitely love to book this place again in the future.
