Just what we needed.

Love the parking when you have a couple short trailers and the place is good enough for what you need. This is my second time staying here and even though it's on the main road it's quiet and priced right!

Great little cabin for a fishing trip!

This cabin was exactly what we needed for our short fishing trip at Clearlake. We had a boat and trailer with us and there was plenty of room to park our trailer and turn it around easily. The house is located minutes from a boat launch and had a few restaurants and a small market within walking distance. There’s even a small boat launch in back of the property for kayaks or other small watercraft and you could fish the canal if you’d like—though when we were there the water level was a little low for fishing. Overall it was exactly what we were looking for!

The place was a real Gem for the price. Nice and Cozy. If there was a problem Rod ( the owner) and his team were right there to fix it. The only issue I had were the ants, besides that everything was great! I would stay again

Lots of outdoor space

Great location on the water. The backyard is big enough for your boat and hanging out. The canals are a cool way to build a neighborhood. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Rod was an awesome host!

Family visit

Great place. Better than hotel. It does need upgrading so if your snobbish you probably won’t stay here. It is a cabin and feels like one. Room to stretch your budget and your legs. Overall great place.

Fisherman's best bet

Comfortable, on the marina, so much better than a motel, can launch your boat from this property.

About the host

Hello, my name is Rod and I am the owner of this nice vacation house. I was born in San Luis Obispo county in a construction trade. I was raised and I wanted to find a place where I could be on the water whenever I wanted to and this is the one lake in California you can do that, i’m a person that likes to talk a lot so if you come to my house and call me, I kind of chat a bit.

Why they chose this property

When I came to this town, I like the small town feel away from the big city life, a place where you can enjoy yourself with a beautiful lake, if you like gambling, the casinos are close by and my favorite is Running Creek Casino, Friday night all you can eat crab dinner. There’s some wine tasting that are very nice and lots of fishing tournaments. One right after the next bass fishing tournament and once a year, a huge catfish derby, which brings in lots of people and usually a crappy fishing derby in January. I think the largest crappy I’ve ever seen, my favorite fish to eat.

What makes this property unique

This property is located right in town. We have red and white grocery store on block down, tackle shop one block away walking distance and restaurants close by, property you can drive right in with your boat behind you. if you need to charge the boat I have some camp spaces and space one is set for your boat with 110 to charge, and if you have a friend with a camp trailer, there’s a space for him to camp also, for an additional fee. When you come in drive right behind the house or front both doors have a combination to get in. This is an old house built in the 40s with an old house appeal however once Inside you’ll see it’s a very comfortable unique charming place room for nice dinner, two nice bedrooms a large TV and pretty much all the accommodations. You can have a campfire outback certain times of the year have a barbecue. Enjoy yourself with a picnic And plenty of room in the back
