Our home is situated less than a mile from both downtown Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village, close to shopping, restaurants and breweries, but nestled into the foothills of the Conejo Ridge Open Space. The home is a sanctuary for peace and relaxation, with cozy outdoor spaces to unwind in and distant views of the City. Our street has access to the trailhead that takes you up to the main ridge trail. The house itself consists of an open, contemporary plan that allows guests to be immersed in the surroundings. Keep in mind that to access the home you’ll need to traverse a long flight of stairs, so just be aware for seniors or others with physical disabilities that the home is not accessible.

This rental was perfect for our family visiting for a wedding. It was very clean, well equipped, decorated in a welcoming, modern decor. Beds were super comfortable, view of sunrise bright and beautiful, sunsets against the mountains beautiful too. Love all the mirrors on the doors and lots of places inside and out to hang out. It is centrally located and was a short drive to Westlake Village Inn, which was the wedding hotel. Their are lots of take out and grocery options in the area.
Short drive to Malibu and the beach. The steps were not a problem for us, but having a strong son helped with suitcases. :) We would highly recommend this property.
It was cute, nice and clean. Entry locks were difficult to lock. There are over 50 steep steps to entry. It would not be a good rental for handicapped or anyone with bad knees or hips. Bathroom doors stuck and were hard to close. Landscape maintenance need.
The place is cute and clean but it’s up 3 flights of stairs which made it hard for me since I have a bad knee. And it wasn’t good for hanging outside because it overlooks the 101 freeway which makes it noisy. Overall imost everything was in good repair but the bathroom door and shower door need fixing. And the horrible toilet paper holder in the main bathroom needs replacing since it literally hurt everyone who used that toilet. So overall it’s a good place but the owners need to do some minor repairs and really must be clearer in the listing about the stairs and location. If you are young and good with stairs this is a nice place to stay.
My brother, two sisters and I rented this house to visit our Dad who lives in the area. The house was perfect for four adults. We each had our own bedroom and the rest of the open floor plan was perfect for relaxing and visiting. Plenty of comfortable seating in the living room and 8 seats at the dining table. The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. There are two bathrooms, both off the hallway which worked out well instead of having one attached to a primary bedroom. There are also 2 hairdryers. We loved the oak tree outside, lots of bird watching activity while we relaxed in the shade and visited. The kitchen had almost everything you would need, minus a toaster. The 101 is at the bottom of the hill, so there is traffic noise, but it didn’t bother us- pretty much anywhere in the valley you can hear traffic. One room had lots of kids games and activities and there is a bathtub in one of the bathrooms, so it would work for kids. There are 36 steps up to the house, so that might be a consideration for some. There is a Nest thermostat which you can quickly Google how to use. The tv had lots of channels and smart apps, but we didn’t really watch TV. Great location close to lots of restaurants and stores, also the freeways to quickly get to other places.
We would stay there again.
