Wake up to the sounds of birds singing and step out into nature for a morning stroll in the meadow. Doggett Cabin enjoys the privacy of a 50-acre property, including a fire pit, a mountain stream with waterfalls, two fishing ponds, and a hiking trail. While the cabin does provide limited internet service, this is the perfect opportunity to put away your devices and reconnect with loved ones.
After a day full of mountain adventures, soak your worries away in the claw foot tub and relax with your favorite movie - don't forget to bring your favorite DVDs (cable/satellite service is not available). A good night's sleep awaits you in the upper level loft, offering two bedroom areas divided by a privacy wall. Take a step back in time and clear your mind at Doggett Cabin! This Asheville vacation rental is located in Leicester and is approximately 35 minutes to downtown Asheville.

This property does not have a washer/dryer available and does not provide linens/towels/blankets. Please bring your own linens to fit 1 Queen bed and 3 Twin Beds, along with blankets and enough towels to accommodate your stay. The kitchenette does not come with an oven, stove, or dishwasher. An electric hot plate, mini-fridge, and coffee maker are provided for your enjoyment. This property is naturally cooled in the summer. While there is no central A/C, the home is usually kept very pleasant by the shade and covered front porch. Baseboard heating is available (on/off only, no temperature control), and a wood stove to keep you warm on chilly nights. Guests will need to be prepared to use these features to regulate the temperature level.
• Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the wood-burning amenities, please purchase wood locally upon arrival.
• No Mountain Discovery Pass
Please note that Doggett Cabin does NOT include the Mountain Discovery Pass (the included Biltmore Ticket, Skiing Pass, or other seasonal activities). We hope that you enjoy the low rental prices and beautiful views, even though these gifts are not included at this property!
• This home is nestled in a beautiful area that is also home to North Carolina natural wildlife. North Carolina Bears are commonly passing through and around the neighborhood during the Spring-Fall months.
This Is a Pet-Friendly Property -- Please Read this Important Information!
• For any reservation with pets, please note that only dogs are allowed. Your reservation requires a pet fee of $100 per dog. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed on your reservation.
• Failure to pay the pet fee may result in cancellation of your reservation.
• The pet fee is required; undeclared pets are subject to a penalty fine per the rental agreement terms.
• The pet policies for this vacation rental, which can be found on the last page of your rental agreement, should be reviewed PRIOR TO BOOKING.
• Note that the pet fee will not be included in your total rental amount. Your payment is due directly to Carolina Mornings Vacation Rentals. Thanks!
