No kitchen clothes. Only 2 bathroom clothes. The beds were as hard as a rock. One of the queens sunk in in the middle. No good cookware. No extra blankets.

Old furniture/ filthy floors/poor communication

The complex is great. Older but lots of old beautiful oaks & friendly people. The unit has a fresh coat of paint but that’s it. It is a shame because it could easily be updated. Livingroom furniture has stains (I put sheet over it). The floors were filthy. I literally oto throw the socks I walked around in in the trash. It has been a very long time since they were cleaned. The shower curtain in the master bath had mildew . The linen in general were pretty worn but would have been ok except there were no washcloths at all. One queens bed slept good. The other queen had a bad sink hole in it. We opened a hallway closet door and it fell. It’s really disappointing because this place could easily be a great place. Especially when considering after all fees it was over $800 for two nights. When we arrived I emailed host but they never responded. We had to get pool code from neighbors.

Adequate condo for people with a dog

The area was nice. The condo being on the bottom floor was good for our old dog. The wifi worked well. The unit was not updated, which the very short toilets were odd since we are all 5'8" and up. The towels could of been better. Ceiling fans would have been nice too. The shower curtains were cheap and one was missing rings. Overall some updating would make it amazing. It was fine for a weekend trip.

Not fancy, but very clean and comfy!

This was a great condo for me, my teen daughter and her friends. The unit is not modern or fancy, but very clean and comfortable for our group! It’s in a good central location just a short drive from the village area or beach. Very good value!

Stayed for a long weekend in January 2024. Condo interior was exactly as shown in pictures. Arrived after dark and the exterior light outside was very dim to the point where we needed a cellphone flashlight to open the lockbox. Overall the condo was great and was perfect for our group. There was some dust gathering near the AC vent and under beds, the toilet ran where we had to jiggle the handle, but it was all minor Inconsequential stuff. Owner was a pleasure to work with, if in the area, we would stay again.

This was great

The condo was great, 2 bathrooms were great, it’s close to downtown, close to the coffee shops , min from the beach. The communication was fast when we wanted info to stay longer also the host had written on a whiteboard things to do & we did them, this was our first time here & my stepdaughter from Germany had a wonderful time. We will be back.

The property is in a great convenient location. The complex is really good. We enjoyed the pools and the grounds. Needs a top-to-bottom scrubbing and some little things replaced. Maybe a kitchen renovation

St. Simons Island Ventures

This condo is just as pictured and listed. The neighborhood is very quiet, but family and pet friendly. The location is a short drive to all the favorite things to do on the island. The only recommendation I have is additional silverware, frying pans and baking sheets. There were plenty of pots, but no pans or baking sheets and some of the silverware needs to be replaced because it is starting to rust which can happen with salty water usage. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to the island.

Fun in the sun

Angie’s condo was a great home away from home for our little family! Quiet neighborhood, two pools, lots of cute ducks every morning. Would definitely come back!

Convenient location

Location was very convenient to attractions on the island. The condo is on the ground floor so it's easy to unload and load luggage. The space worked well for our family of 5 and our small dog. We appreciated the snacks (including dog treats) they had for us. The towels were nice and soft. I debated a bit on how to rate the cleanliness... Condo smelled nice and fresh when we entered. The sinks and toilet were nice and clean. The corners of the floor weren't perfect but it's pretty hard to get a tile floor at a beach location spotless. Our main concern with cleanliness was a small mildew situation going on under the safety bar in the master bedroom and the grout in the showers would really benefit from being redone in order to really look clean. I don't think it was something the cleaning team could address with surface cleaning. There were a few other maintenance type items that could be addressed to make the condo seem nicer too but don't really impact the functionality of the space: there are a few water stains on the ceiling but didn't notice any active leaks despite a very wet week, the vents in the ceiling were rusty, the shower curtains were missing rings, the sinks and showers were a bit hard to turn on and most of the sinks were missing the aerator, and finally the dryer didn't seem to shut off by itself and got very hot even on the low heat setting so you'll want to keep and eye on when your things are done. Overall we were happy with the place and felt the rate was fair.

Needs some attention

We loved the location of the condo and close to the pool. Very quiet area. The condo needs some attention. Light in walk-in closet didn't work. Fan in master bath didn't work. No light in fridge. Dryer low heat settings don't work. Dryer didn't shut off and ran for a long time during the night. Floors could use a deep clean. More blankets should be available.
