MISSION JEWEL is just over 3,100 square feet. It offers 5 bedrooms and 3 bathroom and sleeps 10 comfortably in beds. The kitchen is quite large and perfect for catering to larger groups. There are several dining locations both inside and outside the home. This property can only host 30 PEOPLE max for any event...no weddings.
The classically decorated and furnished living areas offer conversational groupings to enjoy during or after any day or evening event. It offers two parking spaces on the driveway, and plenty of parking on the street and public parking lot (day use only). There is a full size washer and dryer, beach chairs, umbrellas, and some additional toys for the beach to use during your stay.
The front courtyard is fully gated and surround with solid, stucco seat walls. It’s very private. The side yard adjacent to El Camino Real is quite large and with some tables and chairs is the best location for any day or evening event. All outside areas are landscaped with native style plant material and mission style architecture making it a very unique backdrop.
San Juan Capistrano is one of the oldest cities in California and there’s so much to explore. MISSION JEWEL is across the street from downtown San Juan Capistrano and the Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano. The Historic Downtown San Juan Capistrano and the Los Rios District, one of the oldest neighborhoods in California, are within walking distance. You’ll be surrounded by charming antique and retail shops, dozens of restaurants, and art galleries. There’s even a petting zoo!
This home is a perfect vacation getaway for families of any size. And ,due to it’s very close proximity to the Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano MISSION JEWEL is ideal for hosting smaller, intimate weddings, bridal parties, rehearsal dinners, out of town guests of the bride or groom. It’s such a special place it’s also perfect for destination birthdays, anniversary parties, or any kind of family gathering for that special occasion. This home skirts the commercial district in San Juan Capistrano. The public library, a public parking lot for day use, and three small schools are across and down the street. So, there is some traffic and landscape maintenance noise during the day.
It’s also just minutes away from at least a dozen glorious beaches between San Clemente and Dana Point. Both cities are famous for their surfing and water sports. The Dana Point Harbor is also less than a 10 minute drive. Visit the many retails shops, restaurants, and art galleries in both cities historic downtowns. Leave from Dana Point Harbor for a day trip to Catalina on the Catalina Express! Or explore more locally and visit to the Ocean Institute and Visitor Center in the Dana Point Harbor to learn all about our local ocean life and the unique beauty that is the California Coast.

LOCATION: San Juan Capistrano is a city located in southern Orange County, California. It borders Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, Ladera Ranch, and San Clemente with ready access via State Route 1 (the famous Pacific Coast Highway or PCH) and Interstate Highway 5. San Juan Capistrano does have a train depot, however, a car or Uber is highly recommended if arriving by train.
