Amazing to experience
This is perfect house.Everything is very complete and Billiards and board games to pass the boring times!!!!We are so grateful to the hosts for giving us a perfect vacation!!!!!
This is a beautiful house inside and out! Lots of space and activities for the whole family. Epic ping pong battles and space for disc golf, or simply tossing a frisbee. Close to Mariposa and Yosemite and we enjoyed both. We look forward to returning!
Only one word to describe this place: Wow! Home is beautiful, completely stocked, and has many recreational activities on the property. The home and kitchen are fully stocked, and the owners have provided many additional small extras to help your stay be both convenient and memorable. We loved our stay, and would most certainly come back if we ever get the chance.
We stayed for one night so we could be close to the entrance to Yosemite to try to beat the lines. The kids had a blast and wished we were staying longer. The house was very nice and all the toys were a fun distraction. We had a wonderful time. We might bring some other family next time!
My colleagues and I stayed here for the night before some fieldwork we had planned in the foothills. This house was really beautiful and peaceful. Everything seemed recently renovated, there's a great deck with a beautiful view, and Biju was really quick with responding to my messages. We especially loved the fire pit table out on the deck and the pool table! We hope to stay here the next time we have a day in the field!
We spent 3 nights in this lovely home. It was well equipped with everything you could want in the kitchen and bath. We visited the area to explore Yosemite and found this to be a great location. It was ~ an hour to both Yosemite Valley and to the Mariposa Grove sequoias. If you arrive at night be sure to note that you must open a metal gate (easy to do) to get into the driveway. There were lots of fun games to enjoy at the house, but by the time we got back each evening we worn out and watched movies on the big TV. Absolutely loved watching the turkeys each morning marching down the driveway to the back yard meadow! Recommend getting breakfast at the Health Food Store. Would definitely stay here again!
A short stay at this rental.
No major issues, and the property was well maintained as well as well-stocked and furnished. Many thoughtful features and amenities throughout the home.
Two recommendations:
Add a mention of the property gate to the check in instructions. There are other properties in the same location, the additional instruction would help locate the property more easily, especially at night.
The non-working garbage disposal in the kitchen needs to be addressed, it was somewhat of an inconvenience. We understood it to be a known issue as there were printed signs placed to not discard food down the drain. In spite of diligently following the instructions, we found that water drains slowly and accumulates in the sink.
These were minor observations only. We would return and rent this place again.
This home was so very inviting as we walked in, and we felt right at home. The art and tastefully designed interior, beautiful colors and textures, outdoor spaces, and comfortable living areas welcomed us home each evening of our 5-night stay. The check in process was seamless. Our hosts were easy to work with. With a 9 & 6 year old in tow, the bunk room was fantastic. It was a very family-friendly experience with many yard games, the pool table, ping pong, board games, and large deck with so much space for the kids to run around and play. The hosts have made a huge effort to add the little details that make a house a home. The other bedrooms were quite comfortable and well appointed. Mariposa Town itself is charming and we had some fun times there shopping and dining. Pizza Factory, Ridgeline Gallery & Gifts, and The Grove House were some faves. We highly recommend this beautiful home and would definitely stay again!
