Wonderful Unit
This unit worked perfect for us, in our second year coming to Kihei. Easy check-in, clean unit, everything worked as it should, beautiful ocean view. Only a few minor nitpicks/suggestions: 1. The bed mattress was good, however, it leaned on the left side such that you felt like rolling out of bed. 2. Previous stays have had a few condiments left in the kitchen for use... literally nothing upon arrival. Not a huge deal, but it did discourage any eating in. 3. 4 beach chairs were provided. Previous units on multiple islands also provided beach umbrellas and miscellaneous gear such as boogie boards and snorkel masks/fins. Would have been a nice touch. Overall, an excellent unit, well-maintained (see note above regarding the bed) and clean. Would not hesitate to reserve again.

Really nice unit
We just spent 5 nights in this unit. Its really well set up and the 6th floor location is great. Really enjoyed sunsets on the lanai as well as watching whales do their thing. The management company was very helpful when a minor issue came that needed to be fixed. We would certainly stay there again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kihei Akahi C-609. The condo is perfectly located to walk to beaches, restaurants, and shops. So nice to be able to spread out (vs. a hotel room), cook or heat up leftovers in the well stocked kitchen, and enjoy whale sightings and sunsets from the balcony. We liked being on the top floor and the elevators were always very fast. Having a free, assigned parking space was also convenient. We appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs, beach cart, etc. The king size bed and pillows were so comfortable and the mini-splits kept the unit nice and cool when we needed it, but mostly we just enjoyed the fresh air. The condo management was also wonderful - very helpful. We didn’t have a chance to use the tennis/Pickleball court but people were playing every day. Kihei is centrally located and convenient to all the amazing Maui adventures. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Thank you!

Nice apartment but very noisy

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Apartment was nicely decorated, is big and well equiped.Unfortunately a few things didn't work... e.g. two bulbs were defect, remote control of television in bedroom and fan in living room didn't work.Additionally the apartement is very noisy. The fridge is very loud. But the most disturbing was the noise in the bedroom. It is direct located to the floor and elevator. So you can hear every person passing by, clearly speaking like the person is standing next to you and made our sleep very disturbing. It is the argument why I can't recommend!In addition the apartement next to was renovated which resulted in noise during the day, too.
