Needs a new house keeper

I rely heavily on reviews before I book a place. This came as a highly rated place, but once we checked in, it was the beginning of the issues. I have several pictures of spider webs found through out the inside, as if they have been there for months. The filters in the ceiling have not been cleaned either. The property says it fits 8, but all the beds are doubles and the hot water runs out quickly. Only a 40 gallon tank! The shower wand blew off the wall and it took a day for someone to fix it. The washer is leaking water into the kitchen. Just overall, I would not recommend this place because I felt like it was very dirty and the details were missed.

Great location

Easy access to marina, restaurants and kid friendly stuff. Home was well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The property itself was not really suitable for the toddlers in the family due to being right on a busy highway nor access to a yard to play in from the first floor unit.

4 bedrooms with double beds

Nice layout of the house. It is right on a very busy road but it’s close to everything which is nice. The beds are not queen size as the advertisement says, they are all full. Be aware linens are the only thing provided. They left us one trash bag, no paper towels or soap, nothing to clean up after ourselves. Etc. maybe this is common with vrbo, but it made a 3 day trip more expensive and inconvenient bc we had to buy a lot of things. Not even dish soap or sponges were available. Like I said, maybe this is normal? There was a bad mildew smell coming from under the kitchen sink and the utility room where the washer and dryer were located was hot and damp even with a loud de humidifier running the whole time. But despite those things, it was a good spot to stay for our lake trip. It was really nice having 4 bedrooms but I wish the beds were as advertised.

3 day getaway from Annapolis

Four ladies 60’s/70’s. Great kitchen for cooking and 4 separate bedrooms. Very roomy. We enjoyed watching the skiers at Wisp, and dinner at Firewater just down the road on a very snowy evening. Managing company was very responsive to minor inconveniences ( 1 coffee cup in the place so they brought us 5, burned out lightbulb under the microwave above the cooktop, and a very loose doorknob on the bathroom door). Very pleasant to talk with! Only thing that could have been better was someone plowing out the parking area and path to the trash bins because it snowed so hard we had to do extensive shoveling 3 times. The unit was nice and conveniently located. Thanks! Looking forward to a summer trip back up in the mountains!

Nice Property

This house was plenty spacious with an updated kitchen, 4 bedrooms, and 2 baths. Only negative is it is located right on Garrett Highway and it can be a bit noisy with traffic all day and night. I would also not recommend this house for families with children as there is no where outside for them to play. A good location for all activities.
