Perched atop a high sand dune in Cabana Beach, Captain Morgan's Fort is
a great place for families looking for a spacious home, near the beach with great gulf views. (Sleeps up to 10 persons, but no Spring Break house parties allowed. Rental age 25 and up)

On the upper level you will find a large open floorplan with high ceilings and a well-equipped kitchen, pantry, breakfast bar seating for four, a large dining table that seats 6-8, half bath and a comfortable living area with a wall-mounted Smart TV. The Master bedroom and bath are also found here. Stretched across the back is a huge deck with entrances from the living area and the Master bedroom. .

Downstairs are two more bedrooms, a shared bath and full laundry. One bedroom offers a queen bed and the other two sets of sturdy bunk beds. Each room has its own Smart TV. Hi speed WiFi is free

The large, second story, covered deck is a great place to dine while you watch the Gulf of Mexico with its beautiful sunsets or, let the gentle gulf breezes lull you to sleep on the swinging bed. Enjoy the deeded beach access just a short walk away or take the car and park at the community lot. Cabana Beach also has a fishing pier and kayak launch across Ft Morgan Rd. on Mobile Bay. .

Because this owner is a member of the Beach Club, guests can enjoy the Club's amenities for a daily fee that reduces the more days you purchase.. This allows guests at Captain Morgan's Fort to access the Clubhouse including its outdoor pool, hot tub, indoor pool, steam room, sauna, gym, game room, poolside bar and grill, and tennis courts. Additionally, as a guest, you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas, kayaks and participate in Beach Club activities, including marshmallow roasts and Kids Club. The fee covers everyone in the house, per day, for the days you choose. Ask us about how to access these awesome extras!

Without paying an additional fee you may patron the fine dining restaurant, The Coast, with its spectacular Gulf view from the Clubhouse second floor (seasonally) or The Hideaway bar and grill on the North side of the resort. The salon and spa are located on the first floor of the Clubhouse. The Beach Club is approximately a 7-minute walk west on the beach or you can drive and park on location.

For those who want to hit the links, Kiva Dunes Golf Course is just two miles west . Also just a few minutes drive east is the Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club.
Consider spending a day exploring the Fort Morgan Historic Site and Museum, just 10 miles away, or take a ride on the Mobile Bay Ferry to Dauphin Island where you will find sister fort, Fort Gaines. On the way home, grab a delicious seafood meal at Tacky Jacks or Sassy Bass Amazin' Grill. Or, head into the heart of Gulf Shores to visit the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo or play at Pirate's Island Adventure Golf, only 14 miles east.
