The Shores

Absolutely amazing location and beautiful beach views. This spacious Townhouse is located on the highly sough-after west end of Panama City Beach. The Shores Townhouses are just minutes away from 30A, Rosemary Beach and Alys beach. It's a short bike ride over to 30a shopping, dining and all 30a has to offer. Carillon Beach and Lake Powell is a just a walk down the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico. This beautiful beach front townhouse has three levels all with a view of the beach. The ground floor features a garage, laundry room, and a door out to a boardwalk that leads to the pool and the beach. The Second floor has the living area with sleeper sofa, dining area, kitchen, and full bath, a bedroom with two queen beds, a walk in closet and a large deck off the living area overlooking the beach with steps down to the boardwalk. The third floor has the master bedroom and full bath as well as its own private balcony overlooking the gulf. There is a bonus room off the master bedroom with two single beds, great for the little ones. This lovely townhome will accommodate up to 10 guests.

Everything was very clean but construction was still going on. Condo upstairs tv not hooked up. Upstairs bathroom fan not working. Stove needs new burners. 2 did not work. No parking passes in unit. I had to get from Lou in office. I would still rent unit again.

Very nice condo.
Clean, roomy, well maintained condo. It had pretty much everything you need in the kitchen to cook for your family. Awesome view of the beach. Can’t say enough about how nice the condo was. The company “book that condo” is who it was through. The first thing that was odd with them is that we had to physically print and sign the rental agreement then scan back to them. They were kind of pushy about doing it quickly to keep our reservations. I was out of town and getting access to a printer wasn’t easy. They wouldn’t accept a signed PDF. Then a few days later they up and changed our condo without so much as asking our input. I sent them an email that went unanswered for a month. Then one day I received a call asking if we had an issue as they just seen my email. The lady sent us two other properties to choose from. So then we had to physically print and sign a new contract. Tidewater condos is where this is located. They had a couple elevators down. Wait times could take 15 minutes or so to get up/down. They do t allow beach umbrellas in front of the building. This made beach time with our toddler very difficult and really cut down on the amount of time we spent on the beach. They did have lots of amenities if you took time to hunt them out. Overall, not our cup of tea. That doesn’t mean it’s not yours.

We had this condo booked for 4 weeks but had to move out after only 1 week. There was major construction going on. We were moved to another condo down the beach. It will be a nice place to stay when work is complete. The view was beautiful. There are 2 flights of stairs in condo from garage to main floor and again from that floor to bedroom. The host was very easy to work with and took care of any complaints.

The property is in an excellent location for a quiet relaxing stay, and was in satisfactory condition but with very dated furnishings and appliances. There were a few cockroaches noted on a couple of occasions, but you could tell by the smell, the facility had been sprayed for them. Several lightbulbs were burnt out. There were no spare linens for any of the beds other than those for the hide-a-bed couch (no extra blankets or pillowcases), and no potholders for the kitchen. The biggest issue is the fact that although there are TVs in both the living room and master bedroom, you could only have cable service on one (only one cable box available). When we arrived, the cable box was in the master suite. So, absolutely no cable or local TV service was available in the living room. Management was contacted on Monday, a rep finally arrived on Tuesday, but the issue was not resolved by the time we left on Saturday. It's football season people. And not a single channel with Div I college or NFL football available in the living room. Come on people!!!!! This was our 8th stay in the PCB area in the past 10 years and ranks as the lowest rated facility so far. Wouldn't take much to make it much better, but it is what it is for now.

Couldn’t get any local tv stations. TV upstairs is too fuzzy to watch. Door on deck is hard to bolt lock. Buildings were in poor shape beachside.

The best thing about this property is the location. It’s great! Right on the beach. The attached garage is wonderful as well. I would say this property is “surface level clean”. But it for sure needs a good deep cleaning as well as an update. I feel like we got what we paid for, as it was a decent price.

Nightmare! Bug infested and No air conditioning
There was a roach outbreak throughout the unit. My 4 month old had a roach on her which caused my wife to almost go home on day 2 and she stayed disgusted when in the condo. The main A/C unit was broken. They had portable units but the place never got below 78 degrees even at night. The back two bedrooms were so hot we had to sleep in the front rooms with the portable A/C units. I called and complained but the manager never called me back. The place was a nightmare. I couldnt of been more disappointed with the condo or the property management company. I've never had a bad experience before and I hope I never will again. Outside of that the location and beach were perfect.

Quiet and off the beatin’ path
Quiet and secluded condo. Benefits were there were few others on the beach with us. We should have rented a car since we were not able to walk to other beaches, restaurants and shops from this location. We ended up ubering most days. The condo was clean when we arrived. The front patio was fill of sand, buckets dumped with seashells. My husband ended up hosing down the front patio which was an unwelcome site when we first arrived given the beautiful views from the porch. We were able to easily book another night to extend our stay since our flight did not leave until the evening. I mentioned to my mom that a light bulb was out, but in fact I was using the wrong light switch. Maintenance showed up a few hours later with two new light bulbs. Which was eery considering I never called the to tell them the light was out. It was just a conversation I had with my mom. All in all, it was just what we needed. A quiet vacation away fe te busy crowds in 30A.

Beautiful Beach view and Great for kids!
We had a wonderful stay in unit 123 at the Shores. The third bedroom upstairs was perfect for my two sons ages 8 and 10! The pool was perfect for hot afternoons and the garage was a great place to keep beach chairs and sand toys. We had some issues with the a/c unit not working but the property management office was always quick to have repair staff come to repair it! A couple of things that future renters may want to know that parking is very tight. I have a Honda Pilot and it barely fit in the garage. Also the 2nd parking spot is a parallel spot directly at the entrance of the garage. Also, the water hose on unit 123 needs to be replaced and doesn’t work, but luckily the hose and shower right off the beach worked for us perfectly fine! There were several things in the condo that were needing repaired when we arrived, but I called the office and they appreciated me letting them know the guest shower head was coming out from the wall and the storm door latch was completely rusted and did not latch! We had a wonderful time and always enjoy this area!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent location in PCB without the crowded beaches. Which is perfect for our family since we have a 19 yo autistic son. There are no elevators for him to get lost on. The unit was really nice and is located halfway down the long complex which puts it fairly close to the pool and the trash dumpster. This time of year the cleaning crews are overwhelmed and they had to call in a back up team to clean our unit and they were very nice to hand my parking passes so we could head to the pool. The Wifi never gave us a moments trouble.

The place was great and the location even better. Our only critique was that they didn’t even provide hand soap - we went out and bought hand soap, dish soap, dish detergent, toilet paper, and paper towels since there was nothing provided.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The moment we walked in we were greeted by a few cockroaches that my boys had to kill. That didn’t make for a good first impression. The place was not as clean as I had hoped with dirt imprints left in the masterbath room tub. Most of the dishes were still in the dishwasher (every stay we’ve ever had in other places the cleaning crew unloads the dishwasher before the next renters) Easy fixes they could do would be putting felt furniture pads on the bottoms of the barstools so they don’t make the “nails on the chalkboard sound” every time you try to use them :)And the bed in the master bedroom should be moved in front of the tv area where you can view the tv without the leg of the furniture blocking the view and the bed could be under the fan instead of across the room from it.The tv was broken when we got there, but they did replace that promptly. Overall if they would address all these issues I would give it a 5 stars. I know they can’t do anything about the tight parking and siding that is in great need of maintenance nor the pool we didn’t get to use during our stay because it was under maintenance.

We had a wonderful stay at this location. It is right on the beach, and can’t get better than that!! Facility is older, but in pretty good shape, furniture is in newer, and beds were comfy! Will come back for sure. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Shores Unit 123
We really enjoy the west end of PCB and this unit met our needs. If you want a luxury type place this isn’t it but if you want someplace to sleep with super easy access to the beach at a decent price then this is it. The garage was super convenient and the kitchen was good enough for us. I would definitely return to this unit.
