Tuckerton Beach is a quiet/quaint town with lots of character. Popular Sunset Seafood is next-door for a delicious dinner by the water. You are steps away from Tuckerton Cove where you can kayak, paddle boat, or paddle board. Tuckerton Emporium & Historic Smithville Shoppes are just as close for unique buys.

The cottage is a 22-minute ride to popular Long Beach Island (LBI). You can also take a ferry ride from Tuckerton to LBI.

The cottage features a living room in the front of the house & a family/dining room in the back of the house, so kids have a place to hang out.

Family room also has a cozy corner with a bookshelf filled with great books. Cottage has a nice size kitchen with quality cookware, dishes, dishwasher, Keurig/coffee maker combo, & more! The screened deck is great for listening to music & entertaining.

For those rainy days, enjoy family friendly board games, DVD player, & streaming services. Small Bluetooth speakers available.

Like fishing? Seven Bridges Rd area is great for fishing & crabbing. S. Green St. Park is within walking distance which is also great for fishing.

Great getawat

Let me start by saying this place is definitely a Cozy Cottage in so many positive ways. At first my husband wanted a larger place but we have family just down the street so this place just made sense. After staying here, he was grateful I nudged him in this direction. This house is equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The hosts thought of everything from soft sheets to motion-sensored lights throughout the house. The house is decorated in a quaint way that had me going through each room to look at each and every little ornament. There is plenty of seating, inside and out. This house had my sister from down the road wanting to come and sit on the front porch to just sit because it was that relaxing. While the house is not on the water, you can see the water from the front deck through the houses. It was enough for me. I would love to say we will be back but it looks like we might be buying in Tuckerton thanks to our wonderful stay.

Home Away from Home

This is by far the best experience I've had with renting a home. Wanda was communicative and was available if we needed anything. The house was clean, had everything you would need readily available, and the location was perfect. It was just enough space for our family. The house is located near the bay so the views were amazing! It was a close enough drive to LBI as well. There is so much to do in this area and Wanda made our stay seamless. I plan to stay here again in the future!

Private beach house with everything you could possibly need

Surrounded by crushed white stone with spacious parking, across the street from mini water views on 3 sides of the house. Pretty grassland views from the screen porch for relaxing and bird watching, with the closest neighbors located across the street, offer great privacy. The beautiful beach theme decor throughout the house and thoughtful amenities, including anything you could possibly need while staying at this bright, clean, charming house, made this an exceptional experience. We can’t wait to return!

A comfortable place to stay

We have stayed at this property several times, working with the owner is a great experiance. The house is super clean and well appointed. Any spices or cooking needs are there, staples like paper plates and similar items are all available. Ample parking, comfortable beds, washer dryer, there was even ice cream cones in the freezer most likely from the previous guests. Its these type of people that pay it forward, as we do. Location is good and recreational items are available. This is our go to place when we visit our family, you won't be sorry.

Sight seeing at the seaport

This property was easy to get to. The host was quick to answer the questions we had. We made a couple of meals and the kitchen had every utensil we needed and more. Very well stocked. Wasn't on the water, but a short 5 minute walk to the South Green Street Park. Would stay again if we come back to the area.

Simply beautiful

This property has everything you need and much more. The communication with management was great. This is a beautiful cottage located in a quiet area. I highly recommend it. Our first time renting via Vrbo and it was simple. The place is beautiful and sunset/sunrise views from the enclosed porch live you breathless. Can’t say enough good things about it. Rent it when available. Super worthy!

Tuckerton Cottage.

All I can say is I wish our own house was as nice as this. If we go back again we know now that we don't need ANYTHING except clothes and food. P.S. to Wanda-the weather fortunately was better than had been predicted.

Awesome

The house was VERY clean and comfortable. Adorable actually. The host is very thoughtful leaving everything you could need and more . Lots of cool restaurants for breakfast or dinner and even live music very close within minutes. LBI within 30 mins . All i can say is this is a great option . Extremely Clean , host is awesome, and it has all the stuff you will need for a great getaway without the heavy price tag.

A comfortable sweet home

This was a comfortable, clean and charming home. The owner was a good communicator and provided all the necessary essentials and even left a basket of treats. The beds were comfortable and the home was a great fit for my family of 4. It is in a peaceful town which is very accessible to all the shore area. I will gladly return.

First visit to Tuckerton, NJ

This is the 3rd summer my 3 sisters and I have chosen a property for a short getaway. We are happy to report this property did not disappoint. It was clean, organized and well kept. We also appreciated that it had air conditioning, it was quite warm outside during our stay. We also felt the pots, pans, dishes and silverware were of better quality than a couple of other places. The snacks and bathroom amenities were an unexpected and welcome treat. We also appreciate the badges for the beach, even though we forgot to take them with us the day we were going to Ship Bottom beach. So, we explored shops and eateries instead, as well as the lighthouse.

What a great getaway

The place is adorable inside and very clean. The hostess has thought of everything you’ll need for a worry free vacation. Property is bigger than it Looks from the street view. We needed extra bedrooms for a large family get together nearby in Tuckerton and this place was perfect. We’d love to make this an annual visit.

Nice spot

We were in town for two memorial services. I am originally from the area, so I was familiar with the location. There were many personal touches such as snacks, drinks, towels laid out on each bed, bathroom necessities, and other things that make life easier in case you forget anything. Very clean, good location, and overall we had a wonderful stay.

Staying close to our son and his family for Christmas

House was very well appointed with everything we needed. Owners concern for out comfort was excellent, even offering a 100% refund knowing bad weather was coming and power may be out. Turns out water pipes froze, and we had no running water 4 out of 5 days. Being Christmas, no plumber available. Not owners' fault and she was very accommodating to us. Other than mother nature I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay.

Best vrbo stay

The property was easy to get to and find. The host was so kind and left many amenities. (And a few treats!) The house was clean and easily accessible. Though I was only there with my partner, the whole time we were talking about how perfect it would be for a family as there were 4 bedrooms. The kitchen was well stockes so all we had to do was buy base ingredients in order to cook. The host left bikes which we used to explore the area, and we had a blast driving down to the beach and walking the boardwalk.

Property is close to Long Beach Island but doesn't have a LBI rental price tag! Like to fish? You've come to the right place! People come all over for fishing & crabbing at S. Green Street Park. A little park there as well great for the kids!

Tuckerton Beach is quiet but shouts beach life day & night. You have great local restaurants, many that are family friendly. Sunset Seafood (BYOB) is next door. In addition, Stewarts, Calloway's, Dockside Cafe, Mickey’s to mention a few. The fresh seafood is absolutely delicious. I love Parson's Seafood 1/4 mile from the cottage. Also, close to shopping & Ferry to LBI.

Tuckerton has been named one of NJ's quaint towns. Vacation like a local & avoid the tourist traps by staying here. Fishing & crabbing right down the street within walking distance.
