About this property

Vista House*Hot Tub* *Ocean & Bay Views*

Step into luxury at your own, private, waterfront Oasis at Humboldt’s mini version of Venice! Centrally located just 5 minutes from Eureka, the Vista house is the perfect jumpoff point for redwood and beach adventures. Bright and spacious, complete with high-end finishings throughout and just steps away from the beach. Enjoy your own private dock with canal frontage accessed from the back yard, as well as access to kayaks and a paddle boat to take your vacation from a getaway to an experience

The space
Private, spacious and fully stocked, the Vista House is perfect for a romantic getaway, family gatherings, and corporate retreats. The attached garage fits two midsized vehicles, and the private driveway also has room for two more vehicles.

Upon entering the house, you'll find a large entry/mud room area, with views of the open floor plan/first floor. Here you'll find a guest bedroom and full bath with a walk in shower, as well as a fully-stocked kitchen, living room, and dining room. The French doors just off of the dining room open out to the large backyard overlooking the slough and private dock area. Feel free to utilize the kayaks stowed on the side yard during your stay, or take a more low-key tour of the famous King Salmon slough on our paddle boat, all of which come free with the listing.

On the second story of the house, you'll find a large foyer area with dedicated workspace and seating. The primary suite is directly overlooking the bay and also boasts ocean views. Enjoy all that the area has to offer by unwinding on the primary suite patio, or taking a long soak in the oversized tub via the en suite bathroom. A large walk in shower also makes for a relaxing rinse after a long day of hiking and exploring the local area.

There is a secondary bedroom just off of the staircase landing. The bedroom has a comfortable, queen size bed and large closet with views overlooking the canal.

We hope to make your stay more enjoyable by providing amenities such as the kayaks, paddleboat and ping pong table in the garage. A propane grill is also available on the outdoor patio to fully make use of the indoor/outdoor living that the Vista house is meant for!
Guest access
Guests will have complete access to everything on the property during their stay. A lockbox code will be sent 24 hours prior to arrival for access to the key to the house. There will be an extra key available for guest's to take with them during their adventures in and around Humboldt County.

Guests will have full access to the private backyard, private dock, kayaks, paddleboat, and the amenities in the attached garage, including the washer and dryer. The beach is right across the street, and we highly recommend taking a stroll, as well as enjoying a meal, whether it be breakfast/lunch/dinner at the local favorite, Gill's on the Bay.
