Come to Whidbey Island and enjoy the Driftwood Cabin!
The cabin is a cute little place with an unbelievable view and you’ll be so glad you picked us! We do have a four person limit and do not allow pets, unfortunately… But we provide almost everything you need on vacation. If you’re celebrating a birthday or an anniversary… Let me know and I’ll get it ready for your celebration! :-)
Cleaning Note :-) I think some Vacationers would like to know that I do 100% of the cleaning between Vacationers myself.
I usually schedule/block a day or two minimum between vacationers so I can take my time and clean/disinfect the cottage. Please read my reviews for the Driftwood Cabin! It really is a magical place :-)
All linens, bed covers, towels, blankets and such are laundered complete between Vacationers. We always provide new pillows, comforters, sheets and try to offer the cleanest and most comfortable environment for our guests!
Enjoy the best of Whidbey Island in our wonderful island home we affectionately call the “Driftwood Cabin”. Our cute cabin/cottage is located in the quaint beach community of Bon Air on the preferred west side of Whidbey Island! We want you to treat the cabin like it’s your own… Vacations are special… please make some memories at the little sweet cabin.
River rock and shake craftsman home with cathedral cedar ceilings. Big picture windows with a three level entertaining deck and fantastic hot tub to relax and unwind.
The Driftwood cabin boasts unmatched and amazing views of the Olympic Mountains, shipping lanes, ferries, Port Townsend and YES...gorgeous Sunsets!! We are in central Whidbey Island which gets less than 1/2 the rainfall Seattle gets! That means drier days with lots of amazing Whidbey Island sunsets!
Great location to discover Bayview, Coupeville, Langley, Greenbank farms, Deception Pass, Fort Casey, Port Townsend, Ebey's Landing, Penn Cove, Farmer's market....I always give my vacationers an updated list of cool places to go, fun things to do and great places to eat along with favorite food dishes!
Slip into the fabulous hot tub just before sunset and sip on your favorite beverage as you watch the lights from Port Townsend start to twinkle;-) This spot is considered by many to be the best view on the island! Just sayin;-)
Enjoy our fun and well stocked kitchen!Brand new 55” HDTV and fantastic hot tub! Comfy beds w/ all the trimmings! Great for ladies weekend, romantic getaway, anniversary or small family vacation!
NOTE: we are also a pet free home. Meaning we do not allow any pets. We know you love them but they can’t vacation with you this time. Thank you:-)

Why they chose this property
My childhood friend had taken me with his family many times to their oceanfront home on Whidbey Island (Bush Point) when I was a kid. I loved being there more than anywhere, and wished someday I could have a family cabin and bring my kids, family and friends to such a magical place! We have enjoyed weekends and summers since 1998 and started sharing our 'Driftwood Cabin' with vacationers like you about 10 years ago. It is just too cool place in a super location to not share with others :-) We are so happy we did!
What makes this property unique
Situated nicely between the Greenbank Farms and historic Coupeville, the 'Cabin' sits in a prime location looking West over Admiralty Bay.

The entire Olympic Mountain Range is in view as you watch the Port Townsend Ferries cross. Eagles soar, sealions bark and kid's laugh. Driftwood Way is a very quiet street that ends down on our Bon Air Community private beach. Walk down your steps to beachcomb and relax awhile as you listen to the beach music. The West side is known for it's breathtaking sunsets regardless of the time of year!
