Relax with the whole family at this peaceful getaway. Directly on the lake and UTV/snowmobile trails! Boat, snowmobile/UTV right from this 2 bedroom (also has sleeper sofa in living room), 1 bath cabin on the full recreational Little St. Germain Lake. Formerly Black Bear Lodge. Steps away from the beach and your own dock space. Conveniently included in your stay: basic kitchenware, bed & bath linens, free wireless internet, 2 kayaks with paddles, boat ramp. Located close to many restaurants, grocery store and shopping.

Great experience
Needed a place to stay as I fished the surrounding lakes. This was cheaper than staying at a hotel and was able to fish the lake the cabin was on in the evenings. Some nice panfish, bass, and a surprise walleye. Fished the lake very sparingly, but caught fish the little time I was out.Communication was excellent throughout the booking and stay. I even was given some spots to try fishing. The cabin was very clean and organized. I was very happy with experience and would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect winter getaway
We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend 2024. Location was Perfect. View of the lake was beautiful and the fire stove was a nice addition. The cabin had everything we needed and enjoyed the board games. Communication with Joe and Amy was awesome too. Very accommodating. Thank you!

Our stay was lovely. Property was very clean and the communication with the hosts was excellent. A few moments required communication with the hosts and they were extremely prompt and also followed up to make sure everything was taken care of. We were a little bummed the docks were already taken out for the season, but given the time of year we visited that’s not surprising. The property was perfect for family walks and the time of year made leaf diving very fun for our toddler son. Also it was very close to good restaurants, and the hosts provided us excellent recommendations!

Fall scenic trip
The trees were beautiful, the cabin was right on the lake as advertised, and was very well equipped. We seen a lot of deer, some right out our back door! We would definitely go back.

Beautiful lake property! We came to ride our UTV and see the colorful fall leaves. We were not disappointed, the colors were at peck. The cottage was very comfortable just what we were looking for. Thanks for the great vacation.

Relaxing Fall Getaway
Beautiful fall getaway. The colors we almost at peak. Quiet, relaxing and peaceful! Cottage was perfect and comfortable. Views of the sunrise were amazing. The only thing that would have made this trip off the charts was if the Aurora borealis would have been visible. Thank you Jon and Amy for an enjoyable visit!

This cabin is absolutely wonderful. It has everything you need. Jon and Amy are very nice and prompt with directions about check in/out and how to get to the cabin. A very pleasant stay. In fact, my nephew who had visited us their recently asked for the info regarding the cabin so he could rent it, unfortunately, the days he wanted weren't available. Maybe next year he'll try again. If we are ever in the area again, I would like to rent it again. Thank You!!!

Beautiful Setting
This was the perfect September getaway. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, fishing was great right off the dock, the view was beautiful. Especially enjoyed morning coffee by the glassy lake. So peaceful.

This was the perfect cabin for my family’s vacation. Beach access that was perfect for my kids! Kayaks, paddle boards, sand toys and swimming area. We enjoyed the cabin’s fire pit for s’mores. Great place to enjoy our north woods vacation.

Cozy Bear Lodge is truly Cozy!
My wife and I had a 3 week stay at Cozy Bear Lodge and it was wonderful. The cabin is very comfortable and well furnished. It's location on the lake is amazing. The fact that the cabin is positioned in a no wake zone keeps things quiet and perfect for kayaking with the (2) kayaks provided with the cabin. Our stay was better than we could have ever anticipated. Jon and Amy were extremely attentive to ensure our stay was perfect. Highly recommend Cozy Bear! We'll certainly be back again! The Larson's

We loved our stay in this cabin on little st. Germain. The cabin had everything we needed. Enjoyed our view, campfires and fishing. We hope to return next year. The owners are very nice to work with.

Slice of Heaven at Cozy Bear Lodge
This place called the Cozy Bear Lodge was over and above our expectations!! It immediately became an experience we didn't want to end!! We knew the moment we arrived our stay wasn't going to be long enough!! It was truly spectacular and the views were phenomenal!! The queen bed was very comfortable and so supportive I couldn't believe it!! Their aim to please shows through and through! We were so close to the lake it felt like a luxurious houseboat sitting at the breakfast bar!! Loved it!!! We couldn't see anything but a beautiful lake!! It felt very safe there! This entire property was surrounded by really neat rolling paved walking paths with spectacular views anyone would love to stroll. And! The fishing was excellent!! It's a hotspot right off their piers! Small mouth bass were biting big time, but catch & release at this time, and the bluegills and caught a couple of beautiful pumpkin seeds! There's a fish cleaning house there, too! The cabin had everything we needed. The Loons were divine and we couldn't get enough of them!! We saw SO many deer every single time we went out!! The Cozy Bear Lodge on Little St Germain Lake will not disappoint and was so quiet and peaceful -- it's truly a very special place!! Our hosts were readily available when we thought we were lost but we just needed a little extra moral support and they were great!
