Family getaway

We enjoyed a family getaway in this excellent property! We had kids ranging from age 6-14 (6 of them) and 7 adults. There is plenty of sleeping but actual beds for 13. We had one adult who needed to stay with another couple based on the layout. Really ideal for 3 couples kids. Easy access to Murphys and bear valley skiing, great game room and hot tub! Recommend to any group!

Beautiful Country Home

The home is situated in a beautiful country setting just perfect for us city folks to enjoy a few days relaxing. The home provided everything we needed...from a well-stocked kitchen to plenty of activities (pool table, big screen TV, ping pong table, gaming stations, hot tub, etc.) for all ages to enjoy. A month has past & I still miss having my morning coffee out on the deck as the sun comes up. Lastly, the host was exceptional & easy to work with, thank you Monique!

Great propery

Great location amid a beautiful forest. We liked the game room and the hot tub. Deck was situated with very comfortable furniture, dining table and some really snazzy shade umbrellas. The clubhouse amenities and lake access was a bonus! We had great whether for our stay in late April with no one else in our neighborhood. Host Monique did a fantastic job with instructions and placarding of devices and equipment.

Arnold retreat

This place was great! They really thought about everything you'd need, including traveling with young children. The house was, clean, beautiful, and had plenty of space. The kids and adults really enjoyed the game room. The location was great and not far from Bear valley. Check in was a breeze and check-out was easy with just a few things to do. Communication with property manager was fast and effective. The stairs to enter had a landing every few steps which was great for the little kids and those with slight mobility issues. I look forward to coming back. 5 stars all around.

Overall a great spot

This is a great property for large groups. The game room and hot tub were fun for everyone and the proximity to Big Trees and snow was great. The only thing that was less than ideal was a surprise power outage. There is a generator on-site, but it did not turn on and there was no way to get it going without going into a locked closet. The owners took a long time to respond to many calls and texts, which was not ideal. While it wasn’t their fault that the power went out or that the generator wasn’t working, it was frustrating to not be able to get ahold of anyone. Once they finally responded, they sent a handy man out to fix the generator. The main power came on later that day. They were very apologetic and offered to buy pizza for the group as well as sent out a handyman to fix the issue, which we appreciated.
