Mountain Home in Pines

Great location on 3 acres in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for a family gathering or a restful get-away. Lots of gold country history, near the Bear River, American River and Rollins Lake. And a just little over an hour drive to beautiful Lake Tahoe. (Sorry, we can't accommodate weddings or large events.)

A Blessed Stay
Driving up the driveway I sensed something special. Walking into the home, it was confirmed. Beautiful home and awesome property. Very peaceful and clean. Morning coffee was special as we enjoyed the peace and quiet. We also saw several deer. The home is equipped with all the necessary cooking and eating supplies. I could go on and on. 10 out of 10, looking forward to my next stay. This stay was more special than words can describe. Thank you D & A

Incredible stay!
This is by far the best home we have ever rented via VRBO and we have been with VRBO for over 20 years! It is spacious and very well stocked with all the required amenities. Many thanks to the Opheim family.

80th birthday
Family came together from all over the country and we had a wonderful time. The accommodations were great and easy to do as we wanted. We worked on a puzzle, played cards and visited the nearby area. Fun was had by all. There were 10 of us.

Best vacation ever!
This home was a beautiful, spacious, forest-like home, with lush grounds and an abundance of space. As a group of 11 we had everything we needed and more. The 4 children had an especially fun time playing in the yards and walking the trail behind the home. We cooked several meals in the perfect kitchen and had many choices indoors and outdoors to enjoy eating together. Our host, Daryll was very attentive and kind. Overall this was a 10 star vacation for us! It was such a pleasure to be here together! The furnishings, towels, bedding, cookware etc were first class!

What a lovely property. It met our needs perfectly. It was clean and well stocked. Just beautiful. We had plenty of room to spread out both inside and out. It was the perfect place for our family get together to celebrate Dad's 80th.

Terrific Stay.
The hosts were very kind and responsive. The house is beautiful and on a lot of property so we got to enjoy a beautiful mountain getaway. Would definitely stay again if we go back to the area!

Family Reunion
This home met all of our expectations and more. It provided the number of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms we needed for this group. The outside of the home had multiple levels of decks and a beautiful grounds. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely return. This was a 5 star experience.
