This house is in a great location, easy access to downtown and great good. Convenient to get around.
Getting access to the house was another thing. Owner never entered my access to the front door unlock app which left us stranded outside for almost 3hrs while we tried and tried to get access till finally we were able to get ahold of the owner to give us access. The owner seemed as if we were putting her out that she didnt update the app to give us access.
The pump for the drain stopped working thats connected to the washing machine and flooded the downstairs basement. Things happen and wasnt to worried about it. But the owner expected me to meet with the plumber and again wasnt not apologetic more that it was effecting her. I will say the plumbers were very nice ppl and tried to be helpful. Overall id give the property and location a 4 and the owner a 2
An absolutely stunning yard, very nice size home for 6 people to stay. The mid-century furnishings are thoughtful, so perfectly designed for the home and comfortable. Good location in cute Cary, easy access to Chapel Hill, Raleigh, and Durham. Kitchen and bathrooms seem to be original ;-) but are very functional and clean. We wished there were more cooking equipment in the kitchen (pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc.), but what is there is adequate for a quick trip if you don't plan to cook major meals. When we first sat on the beds we thought "oh no, these are so firm we'll never be able to sleep", and instead almost all of us had the best nights of sleep that we've had in a while! The Host was very helpful, we had one small issue that I brought to her attention (no need for a solution during our stay), and she'd fixed the issue within an hour or so. I would stay here again and highly recommend the home!

it was okay
the stay was alright. it was a nice neighborhood and good home just a few things that went wrong. the check in process was a little messy. we got in very late and there was an issue trying to use the app the host had us download. it took about an hour to get into the property, but at least she was able to help us even being so late at night. the other thing was in the master bathroom, the towels left there had dirty spots on them and the shower curtain had what looked like mold on it. that was very gross. and the sink wouldn’t drain so i ended up using the kitchen sink to wash my face and brush my teeth.
The house was very cute! Decorated in mid-century and nice size bedrooms. One of the two bathrooms is very tiny, has shower and toilet, but I took it due to size. The other bathroom is a bit bigger so my husband used. Nice deck out the back. Only problem was the tv situation. No cable and had to have a streaming service account to watch something other than 24 hr news. The location is perfect! Easy to drive into Raleigh.
Gioia is a great host. Very timely, and also very understanding.
To be clear, we were not able to stay at the property due to a death in the family which affected our trip.
Not expecting a refund due to the property policy (nor did I ask for one), Gioia did refund half of our payment, which I thought was gracious and generous, as she did not have to.
We have family who lives near the property in Cary, and we will definitely try to rent the house again on our next trip (which Gioia also offered a discount on).
Great experience with the host.
Stayed at this house while visiting family in Cary. Location was great, very peaceful on a side road, but close to everything. Will stay again when visit!

Wedding stay
Pictures were deceiving. Master bath tiny - toilet didn’t flush until we took the brick out of the tank. Sink took forever to drain. Kitchen sink faucet was VERY loose. Luckily we never had to cook.
The retro style of the home was cute. We walked the neighborhood everyday. Very easy to walk to downtown Cary. Loved the greenway and the vicinity to restaurants and such. Enjoyed sitting on the deck.
House was equipped ok. Missing Dish Cloths, pot holders, and bathroom mats. One towel per person.
This house was clean with nice wood floors and new furniture. The neighborhood was very nice and walkable to retaurants and shops. It was also near two very small parks. I had good communication with the owner. This is an authentic Mid Century home with a large yard and mature trees. True to the age of the home the bathrooms are small. The mattress are all new and all very firm. I like firm beds but if you don't these may not be for you. I slept like a rock.
We were visiting Cary to attend performances my daughter was in of The Nutcracker. It was close to all of the places we needed to be, especially downtown Cary. It was convenient, clean and welcoming. The host was quick to respond and incredibly helpful.
Two words to describe this property are adorable and authentic. I absolutely love midcentury modern and this house fits the bill completely. It was impeccably clean and the furnishings were ample and of good quality. I 100% recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.
