About this property
Stone House with patio, hot tub-less than 50 yards to the water.
Granite counter tops, WIFI, Dish network, huge patio to eat outside and have your morning coffee and watch deer, and a hot tub to relax. Huge master bedroom, with jacuzzi tub and shower. Most unique is we built custom made bunk beds in the bunk room with full size on top and queen beds on the bottom. For our older crown we actually built nice stairs to the top bunks, not a ladder. 2 minute walk to the water. . Just a 30 minute drive to Baylor's McLane stadium or Waco's Magnolia Silos.

If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay on Lake Whitney this is the place for you! House is beautiful, large deck, boathouse access to swim and hang out, and a hot tub. Owner was great answering questions and let us check in early. We had a group of 9 and the house was perfect.
Had a great stay at the Stone House Lodge over the Memorial Day Weekend! 5 star facility with boat house on lake. Large deck with hot tub and gas grill.
Will definitely book again!
We chose this home for our total eclipse trip because of Lake Whitney’s location near the eclipse centerline, and we could not have been happier with our choice. It’s a beautiful house with a huge deck/outdoor space, large fully equipped kitchen, and the most comfortable mattresses/pillows you will find anywhere! The wooded backyard setting is lovely and we enjoyed going out for morning/evening walks along the lakeshore trail that is just a couple minutes behind the house. Jason is a great host and was very responsive and helpful, both before and during our trip. This house is exceptional and we would love to have an opportunity to stay here again.
We had a great stay at the Stonehouse lodge. The bunkroom was really nice for piling in our 5 kids. Most of the time was spent down at the boathouse on the Lake. Fish caught down there include some large bluegill, largemouth bass, and a couple of 19-20” striper. Overall it is a really cool property that we thoroughly enjoyed.
The house was well kept and extremely clean! Beds were super comfortable and plenty of them. Very nice property with great outdoor space and the boathouse was awesome. The owner was quick at answering questions. Would love to stay here again!
We hosted our end of summer family weekend and it was perfect! The house was beautiful and fit everyone very comfortably! The boat house was a perfect hang out spot for us and our boat when we weren’t on the lake! Lots of fish very close to the house and a great spot to kayak! Would definitely stay here again!
Perfect location to reunion at the Lake. Just close enough to all the festivities but far enough for a break when it was needed. Perfect place for the entire family. We had three generations staying under one roof.
Had a great time at Stone House Lodge. Was able to tie our boat up at boathouse and kids and adults enjoyed swimming outside the boathouse. Really good trip. We will stay there again!!!
We had a great time in this beautiful home. We enjoyed morning breakfast out on the back patio, afternoon and evening fishing down at the amazing boat dock, and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. The home is beautiful and we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The second evening we were there the master bedroom AC quit working (Friday night). So it was a challenging night of restless sleep. But Saturday morning the owner got an AC repair company out to the property. When we returned to the house after a day of kayaking down the Brazos River, the master felt great again. So thankful!!!
We also really loved the bunk room! Cozy, well-built, private bunk beds comfortably accomodated four of our single adults. Worked great for our group!!
We would definitely be interested in staying here again!!
Our family had a wonderful time . The house and deck was beautiful and the kids absolutely loved the boat house. They caught a lot of fish. We plan to come back next year. Jason was so helpful.
Our family of 13 adults and 4 children enjoyed our weekend at the Stone House Lodge. The 6 younger adults and the 4 children loved the converted garage into a bunkhouse and game room. The boathouse was a hit for the kids and adults. Everyone loved the huge deck and the hot tub. It has a beautiful well equipped kitchen and big dinning table. The owner was so nice and so accommodating. We all hope to make this a yearly family weekend get away,
We really felt from the online profile that this place would be fun - and boy were we wrong. It was a blast!!!
My 3 boys and teenage daughter enjoyed the jacuzzi. The water was too cold for the fishing we wanted BUT I still managed to catch crappie and a nice sized stripped bass from the boathouse. The boathouse is where I spent my mornings, lunch time and dinner time. The kids loved the garage/bunk bed set up.
The owner was very responsible - couldn’t have been better.
We have stayed at many Vac Rentals and this was among best. The Ownner was very responsive and answerd all messages promptly. THe house was well equiped and the beds were very comfortable. The "Bunkhouse" was a hit with the kids. The highlight for me was the boathouse. I spent most of my time there fishing catching fish every day. Caught perch, largemouth bass, crappie, and strippers. We had pretty loussy weather but the boathouse was the perfect place to sit in peace and quiet. I would highly recommend this place.
Thank you Jason for you hosptality.
