Kozy Korners: Homey, Walkable, 1 mile to DT Cincy!

Welcome to your home away from home! This historic 100 year old house has been updated and outfitted to make it your ideal destination for traveling to the greater Cincinnati area's unique and exciting attractions. This house is on Greenup St. which leads directly to the famous Roebling Bridge for easy access to downtown Cincinnati! There are also plenty of restaurants, shops, and bars within walking distance in Covington. :)

The house is in an excellent location - walkable to downtown Cincinnati’s restaurants, bars and new ICON music stadium, the Reds’ and Bengals’ stadiums, hotspots in Covington including Braxton Brewing, Hotel Covington, Mainstrasse village, and Newport’s new Promowest Pavilion OVATION Music Center. The city also offers a variety of transportation options for quick commutes including readily available Uber and Lyft rides, Red Bike stations, scooters, and a bus system (TANK) with the nearest stop at the end of our block. It is only 15 minutes to the Cincinnati airport! This cozy house is well equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, fast WiFi, and lots of homey touches.

1st floor:
• Living room—Equipped with Italian leather couches and a 70 inch smart TV with Netflix
• Kitchen—Fully stocked including a Keurig Duo and teapot with complementary K-cups, coffee grounds, tea bags, sweetener, and creamer. We also provide a welcome basket with snacks!
• Washer and dryer stocked with detergent and dryer sheets

2nd floor:

This is a family friendly property, and we provide plastic dinnerware/silverware and a Pack 'n Play for the little ones. However, please note that it is not child-proof!

Guest access:
Self check-in with a smart lock for an easy check-in process! Guests will be provided with the access code to the side door prior to check-in.

Parking:
There is plenty of free street parking. We also have an off street spot to the right of the house, however it is a tight space and may only accommodate smaller vehicles. PLEASE NOTE that there is street cleaning on Greenup St. on the right side (closest to the house) of the street on Mondays and left side of the street on Tuesdays – guests will need to move their car/s to avoid getting a ticket.

Other things to note:
***The staircase leading to the third floor is steep and may not be suitable for those with physical limitations.***

We are located in the heart of Covington with a fire department down the street. You may hear an occasional siren or chatter on the sidewalk, and there are street lights outside. To ensure our guests have a good night’s sleep, we have installed blinds and blackout curtains and provide a white noise machine for bedroom #2 (adjacent to the street).

Great cozy spot!

It's very convenient to downtown Covington, Newport and Cincinnati. The place is great and safe and well appointed. However, there were some nasty neighbors around at all hours of the night screaming outside our front door. I would say it is a "transitioning neighborhood" but has not transitioned completely!

Awesome hosts and great location

We had such a pleasant stay here! Place was super clean and cozy! Beds were beyond comfy! Location seemed like it would be sketchy at first but we had no problems and it was so conveniently located close to everything! Even some nice coffee shops within walking distance! Not far from Cincinnati zoo, ark encounter, creation museum, etc! Loved our stay here! Had corn hole and games and a great backyard! 10/10 would highly recommend!

Great location

My Army buddy and I brought our kids to go to a Cleveland Guardians game at the Great American Ballpark. The house was in a perfect location to either drive or walk to the stadiums. We decided to drive because of the kids. There were several bars and restaurants within walking distance. The house was clean and very nice. Krista and Mike were very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Covington close to Cincinnati

Newly remodeled house in Covington KY, within walking distance to many places in Covington. Was about a 20 minute walk to Cincinnati or a 3 minute drive. Will sleep 8 adults comfortably. Bathrooms were nice and recently redone. Hosts were accommodating and receptive.

Girls Week

For many years a group of grade school and high school friends got together to celebrate Girls Week. Traveling long distance did not suit the group this year so since most were from the area, we decided to have our week together staying local. The house served our purposes well….we had a wonderful time together !!

Fun weekend in Covington!

What a great house! We had just two couples, so we had plenty of room. The hosts seemed to have thought of everything we would need for the stay, from toiletries to snacks, spices, COFFEE and dish needs. One little issue with carpeting that I let the owners know about, hence the 4 star rating on cleanliness, but it was overall perfect for us. Thank you! Indiana Bourbon Fans😊

Great place to stay.

We were in town for a convention at Duke Energy Center. Even though the location was just across the river it was well within walking distance to the Duke Energy Center. A variety of restaurants close by. There was plenty of seating for all of us to gather in the kitchen. The coffee/tea station was well stocked. The beds were comfy. The owners were so accommodating and quick to respond to our request for an air mattress. Plenty of options to connect/charge our phones. The WiFI connection was great. I highly recommend this location.

The house was amazing with plenty of room and updated, even chargers for your cell phones. The kitchen was supplied with everything you need. There were snacks for us on the table in the huge kitchen. The only issue we had was outside the house on Saturday eve. There was a person selling Jell-O shots right outside our door on the side walk, people hanging out drinking on the sidewalk most of the night . Not a good night for sleep. Friday night was Not like this. It was quiet. Maybe this was a one night issue? Or maybe every Sat night, I don't know. Overall it was an incredible weekend.

Very nice place!

Nice updated home that was perfect for my friends and I! Able to enjoy all the rooms and be comfortable! Great to have 3 bathrooms with the 4 bedrooms. Couches are super comfy. Great communication from the hosts! House felt like it was in a slightly sketchy area, but we had no issues over the weekend and were able to park one car in the driveway and one one the street. Quick drive to downtown and the University of Cincinnati.

Hello! We are a couple that wants to give you a wonderful stay in our home. We currently live in Richmond, VA, but Krista is originally from Northern Kentucky. Most of her family lives in the greater Cincinnati area, so we are frequent visitors! We love to travel and have stayed in many Airbnbs, which inspired us to start one of our own and create the Kozy Korners brand. Our goal is to provide our guests with excellent accommodations, and we hope to list additional properties that all have that "homey" feel. Enjoy your stay!
