The home is perfectly situated on the hillside with a commanding four-season view of the entire valley. The front door opens to a spacious entryway and continues up a short flight of stairs to an open concept living area, complete with a 75” TV and dining room with a cathedral ceiling. The chef’s kitchen is fully equipped for entertaining with a breakfast bar and additional table seating. A second large living area with spectacular views of the valley (and another TV) is accessed from the entryway. The main level is completed by a spacious suite with en suite bathroom with a shower.

On the second level are three additional bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The primary bedroom is expansive with a luxurious en suite bathroom with a custom marble shower. An additional suite also holds its own en suite, while a guest bedroom and bathroom provide added convenience.

Stunning

Such a beautiful, spacious, calm space to spend a weekend or longer. Has everything you could need for daily living and for adventures in the area. Very clean and ready for guest use. Jacuzzi and fire pit were lovely. Highly recommend!

Loved Our Stay

The house and its location are lovely, just as described. Our 4 year old loved the playroom with toys and flying paper airplanes down the hill in the backyard. We had one (very minor) issue while there and they responded to us immediately. I would definitely recommend!

It’s fair

We could tell no one had been in the house for a long time. This is one of those VRBO’s that you could easily pick apart or easily praise . It’s an old farm house that has had some renovations. We stayed here in the middle of August for a week, we were on motorcycles and really enjoyed having a garage to keep them in. I would start here again

Great house.

This is a great house for a getaway with several couples. Ample room. Zoned heating. Close to attractions. Nothing negative to say. This was everything I was expecting and more

Beautiful VT getaway!

This home was so beautiful, we are already planning our return trip! It is clean, spacious, and is full of beautiful natural light. It still has tons of Vermont farmhouse charm with all the modern amenities you could ever want! The yard is large and there was plenty of space for the kids to explore. Even though there is a ton to do in the area, we didn’t want to leave the house because it was so cozy and beautiful!

Spacious and interesting house on a quiet road

We were delighted to find that the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of excellent tools, silverware, glassware, sharp knives, cooking pots and pans etc. The beds were comfortable (at least ours was), the water was good tasting. The house seems to be under renovation, for example - our bedroom on the first floor has a hole in the ceiling with part of the works stuffed above the ceiling - the room was dark despite bedside lamps and a floor lamp. Also there is a nail protruding out of the floor between the bathroom and bed in that first floor bedroom which my husband stepped on several times in the dark. The 2nd floor bedroom over the playroom was chilly and the thermostat was hanging out of the wall. The lighting was awkward and/or minimal in most rooms except the kitchen and over the larger dining table. The kitchen worked well, except we found the glasswasher full of water and the ice maker did not work. Some ice trays probably would be appreciated by the next renters. The "great room" does not have good light for reading. The dining table was the only place with seating for all seven of us to be together (and we had to move a chair from the kitchen to do that). Regarding the rating for communicating with property manager - I did not communicate during our stay, only once some days before we drove there.

Great for family skiing!

We took our family and young kids (age 3-8). The house was fully stocked with everything we needed, including shovels, bottle openers, and all the little things we always wind up stopping at Shaw’s to get once we realize they’re not in the other rentals. Great open layout for the adults to relax with a separate room for the kids to play and not complain about apres ski football playoffs happy hour. Location was awesome, a quick and easy drive to Okemo for us. Property was huge with lots of hills and places to explore. Hoping to get some good sledding in next time. Highly recommend!

Great House!

Plenty of space to spread out. House is not cluttered with stuff to collect dust and was very clean and charming. The woodburning stove looks new and heated up nicely (we had to go buy our own wood). All the bedrooms face the front of the house and have AWESOME VIEWS along with their own bathrooms, plenty of storage and comfortable beds and linens. Nice to have 2 Master's with one on main level. The property was awesome for sledding and hanging outside with the firepit (we had to buy our own wood). We loved walking around the property and pond and were greeted by a couple of horses. Washer and dryer worked great! Loved our stay. The only thing that would have been helpful is if there was a book/manual regarding the area and specifics about the house etc. Great location!

Good quiet location - nice property

Our family of 5 enjoyed this location while the leaves were changing for fall. Close enough to town for an evening dinner and far away enough to get away. The yard was nice to have the kids get out and run around. Enough room inside to also spread out. One thing to note, there are no window coverings, so when the sun is up, you are up. Also, when we arrived two of the advertised rooms were locked. We were looking forward to having our kids not have to share a bed, but only two of the 4 upstairs rooms were available. Attempts to contact via email and VRBO to have these unlocked were ignored. Zero stars for host interaction.
