My husband and I had a very relaxing weekend at this home that was clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of the lake and many deer to watch while having our morning coffee. We hope to go back again soon!
We enjoyed our trip to the lake house. Home was spacious and comfortable. The view of the lake was beautiful. Neighborhood was quiet, safe and close to shopping.
My husband and I had a very nice and relaxing stay. The view was amazing and we enjoyed watching deer come out every evening. We hope to go back and stay with our kids sometime.
Good spot for a quiet getaway in the woods, yet very close to lots of shopping & dining options. Big open great room & kitchen are great with lots of windows for views of trees, lake & deer passing by. Hosts are excellent at communicating. We would definitely return if in the area again.
Great place for a small family. Very peaceful location right on the lake. Nice view from the living room or deck. Pet friendly which was a huge plus for us. Located within 10 minutes of restaurants, grocery, etc. so we didn't have to stray far from our VRBO. I would definitely book again if we decide to return to lake Lanier.
The toys were a BIG BONUS! Our kids had a blast! Location is absolutely perfect! Only complaint was the ladder on the dock. One of the bolts came out & another pulled loose. This wasn't a deal breaker due to the fact you could walk out of the water with no trouble. We would definitely stay here again!! Thanks for a great trip!
Exactly what we needed a place way off the beaten path and no city interference. Loved every minute of it. Chris was on the spot with every question and even sent me my clothes I forgot in the dryer!! Thanks Chris! Maybe if we are on project in the summer we may stay to see the trees green and the lake full! Cheers!
We enjoyed our stay on the lake over Memorial Day. The host was very easy to communicate with and we loved being able to enjoy the stay with our dogs.
Pros: location, quiet cove, dog friendly, open boat dock (we brought our own boat), 2 queen beds in guest room, beautiful kitchen update and floors are lovely, lots of parking.
Cons: cleanliness (we had to do a lot of cleaning at the dock and outside porch - it didn’t seem ready for the season), kitchen needs to be inventoried of items needed, kitchen water pressure is very low, dock needs a lot of TLC. Upper dock has loose, rotten boards. The house (bathrooms) could also use some TLC (peeling paint, etc).
I let the host know about bats/birds living in the chimney and he was very responsive and said he would get it looked at. He was great but hopefully that will be fixed because they screech at dawn and dusk.
We very much enjoyed our stay but we wouldn’t choose to rent this home again.
Regrettably I had little time to actually spend in the cabin as I was attending a family reunion in Dawsonville with quite a drive over. For flat landers like myself, the drive to the cabin was stressful especially the turn into the last 300 feet to the cabin. Many good accomodations, all I really needed and more. On the less accommodating side was it was not ADA equipped. Stepping in and out of a bath tub was very challenging. There were a few steps into the bed and bath area. Also the couch was very low and deep, so was challenging for my comfort, could have used some cushions or other choices for sitting. The television only showed movies--great for those wanting to be far from news, etc. I personally like a choice. Could have used a few instructions on the key lock; took a bit for me to understand how to lock the door, then it was very easy. Basically, just a few adjustments for older folks with some mobility issues. Most visitors without challenges, the place is perfect. One neighbor had a big party on Saturday night, but there was absolutely NO annoying noises from the group. Even with a few challenges, I like the spacious cabin, especially with the wrap around porch. Much to enjoy in this cabin and much beauty to behold.
House was nice and clean. Lots of upgrades! They even have a little play area for kids that has a teepee! I forgot some items when we left and the management went above and beyond to get them back to me. Highly recommend this cabin and company!
This house is so perfect for a relaxing lake vacation any time of the year. The autumn leaves were every color and so beautiful. It is a very quiet neighborhood which we loved. The house itself has a well-stocked kitchen, super comfortable beds and a big comfy couch for lounging while watching the big screen TV. We used the big porch and the grill when we grilled steaks, and we loved the outside dining area. Everything was perfect and we will definitely visit again!
