George C. McGough Nature Park is only a short walk away. This park is also known as "the turtle park" for its abundant aquatic turtle population. Stroll through the shady oak hammock or through the mangroves along the Intracoastal waterway. Make sure you visit the nature center which houses live animal exhibits and hands-on activities for children.
Walsingham Park is under 3 miles away and offers a 6-mile shared-use trail, playground, fitness area, fishing platform, picnic shelters, and more.
The Florida Botanical Garden is also only a short drive away and provides 90 acres of local and tropical flora as well as the Heritage Village, Butterfly Garden, and Wildlife Lookout.
