I was very impressed with the property. Really enjoyed myself. Was not so satisfied with road condition leading immediately to property. Other than the road condition everything else was great
Fortunately we only stayed one night due to having to return home however, I have to say we were very disappointed from the moment we arrived at the cabin. We were welcomed by a dirty old mop hanging from the front porch banister and a large Rubbermaid garbage can. The inside was ok except there was no couch, is was an old futon that smelled nasty and a worn out recliner. There was no cozy cabin feeling. Felt more like a bachelor pad. I was expecting more based on the pictures. The rockers shown on the outside deck were actually in a corner of the living room. The two rockers that were outside, we were afraid to sit in thinking we would fall through. Also, the road leading to cabin is sketchy.
Everything was great except for water pressure. We were unable to fill upstairs soaking tub. Disappointed with that. Other than that our stay was fantastic. Quiet...secluded...Be careful if your coming with small vehicle...the road up could be a bit challenging.
Over all we had a good stay. Really wish I’d noticed no WiFi before I booked. The directions suggested by Siri take you through roads that need 4 wheel drive. Make sure to call for alternate routes. Also - REALLY need mirrors on a blind curve/hill.
Several minor issues- can’t use door of refrigerator due to nothing holding items in place, had to use a paring knife to cut a watermelon, no table on deck, etc.
Air worked great, bed was comfortable, porch privacy is great, enjoyed the hot tub.
As stated, overall it was good but I wouldn’t return due to items mentioned above.
Thank-you so much. It was beautiful and so secluded. Very peaceful. Next time we vacation again in Tennessee we will definitely stay at this cabin again. Absolutely loved it!
This cabin was everything I was expecting. It was clean, cozy, and best of all at the end of a dead end with complete privacy in the back. My boyfriend and I stayed for 5 days and were able to just unplug from the world and enjoy each others company. The ONLY thing I would change is making an enclosure for the outdoor trash. A raccoon knocked it over during the night the first night we were there and we had to bring it inside.Other than that it was perfect.
The stay was wonderful! The road coming into the cabin is quite rough. 4x4 recommended. We made it in our minivan but it wasn’t pleasant. Other than that wonderful!
The cabin was great, we enjoyed spending time there. We just enjoyed the time away from the world. It was extremely peaceful and pretty secluded. I believe the owners did a good job of showing what the cabin had to offer and it lived up to it. We talked to them once and they were very good people. I recommend staying here. We will try to get back here this year a time or two.
