About this property

Stunning Mountain Home, sleeps 10, NO steep roads

Beyond The Pines will take your breath away with it's cozy modern cabin décor. A private oasis in the middle of the woods near Walden's Creek. Enjoy early morning coffee from one of the two large covered porches or starry nights among the pines in the hot tub or by the fire pit. The bright lights and fun times of Pigeon Forge is just a few minutes away from your mountain retreat. A great place for family and friends or a luxurious get away with your favorite person. Beyond the Pines awaits you.
The space
This gorgeously decorated cabin is slightly tucked back off the road just beyond a grove of pine trees. Surrounded by woods on every side you can barely see the neighbors. You are greeted at the front door by the area’s largest standing bear carved out of a solid piece of Paulownia tree. The 7-foot bear was carved by renowned carver Joshua Gates who carves in the Wears Valley Village. The front porch has seating for at least 7 and it’s our favorite spot for morning coffee and quiet time. The log cabin style home boasts high vaulted ceilings in the living room, a two story stone gas log fireplace, hardwood floors throughout, massive rustic Alpine Cedar beds and a real bear skin rug on the living room wall. Relax, unwind and enjoy our home away from home just Beyond The Pines.

Wonderful place to stay
We really enjoyed staying at this property. We have stayed at many locations throughout the years in the Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg area, so we were very careful to try to find a property that was not too sloped or hanging on the side of the mountain. This one was perfect - the flat yard, porches, and fire pit were very relaxing for us. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, including the skewers for putting hotdogs and marshmallows on for the firepit. The laundry area was efficient, the bathrooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable. The only issue we really had was a windstorm had come through the first day we got there and had knocked out internet, tv - but the owner was very quick to respond and find out what had happened, and it was back up and running very quickly. We found the owners to be very kind. Our youngest child enjoyed the little play "tree house" area in one of the bedrooms and the older ones loved the arcade games. It was a great place. We would stay again!

Hello I'm Arlene. You may know me from (Instagram @farmhouse2020) where I live in a Hybrid Tiny Home in Kentucky that I built myself. I'm an Architectural Designer and although I have a passion for farmhouse design I love the mountain cabin life. My husband and I bought our mountain home as a getaway from the craziness of life and work so we could spend quality time with our children and grandkids. We have enjoyed getting this home ready for our family and friends and now sharing it with beautiful families across the U.S. We hope you enjoy the home as much as we do. Blessings.

Why they chose this property

Close to everything yet far enough away to relax and enjoy nature. Access to the home has NO steep roads which is a big advantage in the Smokies. Some properties are quite scary to get to and require a 4x4 in the winter but not our home. Beyond the Pines in located in a beautiful quant neighborhood and just beyond a grove of pines. We have a nice flat yard surrounded by pine trees.
