East Beach House 4 BR 2.5 bath. Walk 2 blocks to Beach. Marsh Views! 2 bikes
Jan and Feb 50% off for 28 or more days! 4 Bedroom, 2 1/2 bath vacation home located in the East Beach Subdivision of St. Simons Island. Pre-approved pets allowed. Take advantage of a short 2 block/three minute walk to our uncrowded beach, or bike there on one of the bikes included with you rental. Our house faces the marsh and you will enjoy beautiful sunsets from our second story living space, Sea Island Forge fire pit seating area or from our patio and lush yard. Our neighborhood does not have any condos or hotels nearby which bring big crowds. We are located on the corner of 8th Street and Ocean Road in the East Beach neighborhood. Our neighborhood does not have any condos or hotels nearby which bring big crowds....just East beach residents and tenants sharing the beach Our beach is half way between public beach access points of Coast Guard Station (1st Street) and Gould’s Inlet (15th Street). Access our beach by walking straight down our street ( Eighth Street on East Beach) and down the hobbit trail til your feet hit the sand! Distance to the village is just over a mile and is a scenic walk or bike ride down sidewalks with many restaurant and shops along the way. So many activities and wonderful restaurants and shops just walking distance away! Heated outdoor shower, Outdoor firepit, & two bikes included!
The views from the house are beautiful. The interior includes vaulted ceilings, large dining room that seats 12, master suite with full bath upstairs, a second king-size BR downstairs with second kitchen attached, two additional bedrooms ( BR #3 has one queen and BR #4 has two twin beds). There is a full bath plus half bath on the level with the second king bedroom, queen bedroom and twin bedroom. Extra pluses include a gas grill, two bicycles, heated outdoor shower and a beach buggy to pull all of your belongings to and from the beach. Linens and towels provided.
Our house is professionally decorated with original artwork throughout.
MONTHLY RENTAL NOTE: Monthly discount only applies to Jan and Feb months for rentals 28 or more days. March discount is considered on a per case basis. Inquire with owner. Certain tax is exempt for monthly rentals.
We highly recommend that you purchase travel Insurance in case you need to cancel your reservation!

We are natives of South Georgia, and are UGA graduates. We reside full time in Atlanta and have two children.
Why they chose this property
My husband and I bought our St Simon's house the year we were married and have enjoyed spending time there with our two children, extended family and friends. We both enjoyed St Simon's with our families as children and are continuing the tradition.
It is a wonderful escape from Atlanta which is our full time residence.

Marsh views (sunsets/ marsh birds) from our second story main living space or Sea Island Forge Firepit seating area, heated outdoor shower, 2 king beds , 1 queen, 2 twins, 2 blocks from the beach, professionally decorated home! Master bedroom on main/second floor with a king PLUS an additional master suit with king bed and full kitchenette for another couple. Two adult bikes come with the house. Works well for two families!
