Where you'll sleep: Most of the bedrooms are on the second floor and accessible by two different sets of stairs (the one leading to the primary is quite steep). There is also a first-floor bedroom.
* The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed and an en suite full bathroom.
* Outside the primary bedroom, you’ll find a twin bed and crib. Please note, you walk through this bedroom to access the primary.
* A second stairway leads to two more bedrooms, one with a queen and one with both a queen and a twin trundle bed. These rooms share a lovely large full bathroom with a clawfoot tub.
* There is also one first-floor bedroom off the great room with a queen-sized bed and a nearby half bath.

Activities & games: Off the great room is a charming barn, outfitted with a ping-pong table, a swing overlooking the farm, and outdoor games.
* We've converted the upstairs loft into a yoga/ Pilates/Peloton studio & relaxation room -- it's one of our favorite spots!
* We also have bikes, kayaks, paddleboards and a canoe available for guest use, along with lifejackets.

Remote work: We have two separate offices if you need focus time, along with high-speed (600 mbps) internet.
* The primary office is set apart from the rest of the house with its own private access.
* The second office is right off the dining room on the main floor.

The great outdoors: When you’re ready to explore, enjoy a short 1/3 mile walk to the secluded and picturesque tidal cove!
* The water is perfect for kayaking, fishing or swimming at high tide and bird watching, crabbing or beach walks at low tide.
* Nearby are numerous nature preserves with beautiful hikes through coastal flats, as well as more ambitious hikes inland in the Camden Hills.
* Wake up to the sound of birds chirping and spend your days exploring the great hiking trails nearby, before coming back to relax in the cozy and inviting atmosphere of the farmhouse.

Three Sisters

Such a welcoming place. On a cold spring night we made use of the fire pit and well-equipped kitchens. In daylight we walked to the shore and ventured off to nearby towns. Our visit was short, too short, to try out all the other amenities of this delightful farm.

A Dream Maine Getaway

This property is nothing short of the most amazing stay ever. If you are considering staying here, take this as your sign to book this home. The home itself is so well decorated and furnished. Giving a "lived in" feel, by having everything you could possibly need and more. The location too; a 1/3rd of a mile from a tidal cove, tucked away in the woods with tons of privacy and peace. Mia was quick and helpful in her responses, and went out of the way to make us feel right at home.

Three Sisters Farm

We absolutely loved The Three Sisters Farm. The home screams charm and Mia has thought of everything that one might need or want. My grandchildren loved the playroom -complete with toys, books, art projects and a tv and spent all indoor time there. There are 2 kitchens -all complete with everything a gourmet cook might want. The beds are so comfortable- the garden so inviting. A perfect get away for couples or a family. Gail W.

Hi! We're the Holland Family. We live outside of Washington DC, but like to get away whenever we can - particularly to our farm in Friendship, Maine. We love it there, and think you will too!! :)

Why they chose this property

Three Sisters Farm is just 30 minutes south of the bustling restaurants and boutiques of Camden and the lively music festivals and art galleries of Rockland, but it feels like another world. Friendship, where the farm is located, is an unspoiled lobstering village - you can’t get fresher seafood! There’s one general store in town (well stocked with groceries, yummy prepared foods, and a nice selection of craft beer, wine and liquor), as well as an antique shop, a tiny museum, several open artists' studios, and local farm stands offering fresh produce.

As mentioned above, the Rockland/Rockport/Camden areas are less than a half hour away- with award-winning restaurants, art museums, seasonal festivals and the schooner fleet easily accessible. Fabulous Monhegan island can be reached for a wonderful daytrip by boats in nearby New Harbor or Port Clyde.

Three Sisters Farm is just a short 1/2 mile walk to a saltwater estuary and close to numerous nature preserves, with beautiful hikes through coastal flats and more ambitious hikes inland in the Camden Hills. In the winter, the Camden Snow Bowl provides uncrowded local skiing 30 minutes from your door, while world-class Sugarloaf and Sunday River Mountains are both 2 1/2 hours away!

What makes this property unique

Kids of all ages will love this Farm! If you’re traveling with young ones, we offer a crib, two highchairs, a pack n’ play, baby gates, and children’s dishes available for use. We also have plenty of toys, blocks and books to make your life easier! Outside there are 11 acres of freshly mowed lawn, pasture and woods waiting to be explored, and the deep tub in the shared bath (or the outside shower!) makes cleaning up afterwards a delight. In the winter, we provide sleds for enjoying the sledding hill across the street and in summer, please feel free to use the provided kayaks, canoe, paddleboards, bikes, stroller and lawn games!

Well-equipped kitchens include everyday and fine china, an espresso maker, Riedel wine glasses, cast iron pans, Le Creuset cookware, commercial stoves, and everything you will need to host large or small gatherings.

Housekeeping can be arranged for longer stays as well as lobster delivery!

Come enjoy all MidCoast Maine has to offer, or just enjoy your own private Maine enclave! Welcome to Three Sisters Farm!!
