Secluded cabin located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia.— 5 MILES —above Alpine Helen. Chimney Shadows Cabin is named for Chimney Mountain that can be seen from the cabin's back porch during the winter months. This Log cabin has a secluded Hot Tub on a screened back porch and a gas log fireplace in the living area.

Enjoy the mountain Laurel in the Spring or the colorful foliage in the fall from the covered front porch rocking chairs. You may like visiting in the Winter in hopes of getting snowed in while being nice and cozy in front of your gas-log fireplace or you can enjoy the outdoor hot tub anytime of year. The Chattahoochee River is only 5 miles away and everyone knows to 'shoot the hooch' in the summer. Summer is also a great time to visit Unicoi State Park and Lake. Unicoi Lake and Anna Ruby Falls are only 1.5 to 2 miles from this cozy cabin.

Alpine Helen is the tourist hot spot here in the Mountains of North GA. Visit us in the fall for the worlds longest running Oktoberfest. Helen, GA is centrally located to Hiawasee, Blairsville, Dahlonega, Ellijay, Sautee Nacoochee, Lake Burton, Lake Vogel and Brasstown Bald, Georgia's highest Mountain. North GA is also known for it's Great Wines. Visit the Cottage, Three Sisters, Frog Town, Wolf Mountain, and Habersham Wineries, along the GA Wine Highway while in the area.

21st Anniversary Getaway
Beautiful, clean, and quiet cabin just a few miles outside of Helen, GA. The host was very communicative and responsive. I would absolutely recommend this location for a romantic getaway.

My partner and I booked this cabin for a relaxing, cozy extended weekend and it did not dissapoint. It had everything we were looking for- warm wooden interior, quiet, private, clean, with a fireplace and a hot tub.The hot tub (one of my must-haves) was very clean, private, and we had no problems operating it. We had some problems lighting the gas log fireplace at first, but the hosts walked us through getting it lit again. There was a serious winter storm forecasted for the morning we were to arrive and Sadie graciously allowed us to check in the night before to avoid the icy back roads. She also allowed us to stay a few hours after check out time to allow for the icy roads to melt on our last day. Overall, the property is beautiful and the hosts are kind and communicative. I will definitely come and stay again!

This cabin was and had everything we were looking for on our weekend getaway to the mountains. It was very clean and well stocked with all the necessities. The hot tub was a bonus. The host, Sadie, was very accommodating and responsive.

The cabin was perfect! I was more impressed once we arrived. It was so nice and clean. Has everything needed, and the location is wonderful. Secluded and private enough but convenient to town with a beautiful short drive. We will definitely try to book this cabin again for future Helen trips!

We stayed two nights at this property for the first weekend of Oktoberfest! The location was perfect, far enough out of town for peace and tranquility. There are neighbors, but due to the tree cover it is very private. The home was very clean with all amenities we needed. The hot tub was great!

A wonderful experience!
My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay here at this lovely and cozy cabin. We got married the weekend of June 1st and spent a couple of days here and we absolutely loved it. Sadie was very helpful and kept us updated of any early check in and late check out possibilities which was very helpful. Cabin was clean and easy to navigate. We got to spend some time in Helen at the hot air balloon festival. We wish we could have spent more time here and hope to visit again soon.

Great Cabin in the Woods
We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this cabin was. It was just a little outside of town near the Unicoi park. It's quiet with no road or town noise. There was a Volkswagen show happening in town with a bunch of little 4 cylinder cars revving their motors and making them backfire. This cabin was secluded away from all the noise and chaos. The beds and furniture were extremely comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was an affordable great stay!

A wonderful, relaxing long weekend. Very nice accommodations with local attractions to fill the day. Naturally beautiful hikes as well as family tourist attractions. The choice is yours.
