We brought our trikes down with friends to ride for our trip. The home is beautiful, convenient to the parkway, very clean, but quiet and serene with the river running behind it. Will definitely stay there again. Wonderful vacation.
Only wish the checkout was 11am.
We enjoyed our stay. The home is well appointed and we loved the location. Communication was excellent and the check in and check out process was easy.
We enjoyed our stay here. We particularly liked the king sized beds, large TVs, and easy to use thermostat. We have stayed in the area before so we knew we could expect the quiet neighborhood, with river and walking trail access, while only being minutes from the parkway.
It was over all a great experience but there were some things that needed to be improved. Could use some new mattresses, and both rooms felt like sleeping on springs. The hot tub wouldn’t get hotter after you get in it. Other problems were the need for better lighting on stairs and the lights underneath the house wouldn't come on. Besides that, the home was very nice and clean, and in a great location for fun things to do around it.
Property was clean and well equipped for our stay. Location was great. Far enough off the parkway for some peace and quiet but close enough to be convenient to everything.
It is a great property in a quiet neighborhood, but still close to everything. It is well furnished with everything you need. The river is right off the back of the lot. Various birds and turtles are easily visible.
This home was perfect! Very clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect and close to everything. My son enjoyed fishing and my daughter made friends with the ducks a geese that visited every day. Owners were great to deal with. We will definitely be back !
My husband and I stayed for a week here. The location was excellent. Minutes from parkway yet very quiet laid back neighborhood with the calming sounds of the river.
The house was clean and perfectly stocked for those planning on cooking meals. Beds extremely comfortable, other furniture was comfortable as well. We would definitely stay here again.
Everything about the listing is spot on. Communication with the owner was seemless. The property is very close to town and the back balcony offers a great view of the river and a few Canadian geese. It was a great time.
Within a few minutes of everything! We visited for my son's baseball tournament at Cal Ripken. The creek behind the house was so nice for our visit in June. The home is cozy, and clean. Our host was very responsive and was even able to accommodate us with a late check out. My son ended up winning their championship game so the late check out was very much appreciated!
You are 5 min away from all Pigeon Forge has to offer, but you wouldn’t even know it! This house is in a quiet little neighborhood on the river, the kids loved floating and fishing. The house is nice, and has the necessities for cooking dinner. A few issues while we were there but the owner did his best to correct them and gets back to you very quickly.
A great house and close to everything.
I did fail to notice than you can’t use the hot tub and fireplace after April 1st, and it would have been nice when it turned back cold. But would come back again!!
We loved this property! Clean, well equipped, quiet, and perfect location. Rick was wonderful to communicate with. The only disappointment, the hot tub is not on in the summer. We do a lot of hiking, it would have been nice to soothe sore muscles.
We would definitely rent this property again.
Loved this location, peaceful and beautiful view, yet just off the main strip. The porch overlooking the river was great. Loved the swing under the house. The owner was quick to respond and readily available. Inside, there was a printout of helpful information pertaining to the house (how to work tv, Alexa I go, etc)— this was great! We knew how to work things and didn’t have to spend lots of time figuring it out ourselves.
My overall impression is Anglers Inn is the perfect place for a getaway with Friends. So close to the Parkway.
I Recommend having a second trash container. As we did not have a place to take the trash out after staying behind another group. I also believe there should be another solar light. Not being able to see the last step at the landing when leaving in the dark could propose a hazard as a couple of us missed the bottom step and nearly fell.
I absolutely LOVE how the house was decorated for Christmas (specifically the tree). I was able to put my kids presents under the tree and we open them on Christmas as if we were at our own home. Very clean, welcoming, and the owner, Rick was very communicative. When visiting Pigeon Forge in the summer, I will definitely stay here again!

My Family and I have lived here in Eastern Tennessee over 30 years. I love the mountains, the wildlife, the early Spring and the late Fall. My family and I hope you enjoy it here as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
Enjoy sitting on the back in the morning having a cup of coffee and watching the birds go up and down the river is the best. You never know what you might see. Maybe a Bald Eagle out for its morning catch!
