About this property

Mossy Top is perfect for your getaway. It has 2 bedrooms that are located on the 2nd floor.The pull out couch on the main level sleeps 2 more! The king room has an ensuite bathroom. Close in to town but far enough to have some privacy. Located just 1 mile off the Parkway at Light 10. Everyone’s welcome. Even the furry critters. Plenty of parking for about 3 cars or trucks or a car and a trailer. Roads are easy to access and kept up by the county. No scary roads to access or high drop offs.
2.5 bathrooms, hot tub. Fully stocked kitchen for all the grub. Cabin overlooks a valley with seasonal creek. (Winter, spring with melting snow). Pets are always welcome. The hot tub sits on the deck overlooking the valley. If you look closely during the fall and winter months you can see the old pioneer wagon trails in the valley and many guests have reported seeing a family of bears that roam the valley as well.

Weekend getaway

The cabin was hard to find, especially in the dark, but it was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. I would suggest that they provide better toilet paper. One ply just doesn't do it.

Nice looking cabin with an updated interior. Decorated well for the holidays, which was a nice touch. The owner was responsive and helpful. When we arrived, the bed sheets appeared to be dirty. There was dirt/debris on a set of sheets and what looked like a large wine spill on the comforter. Also some stains on the drapes. We contacted the owner and they had new sheets dropped off the next day. The floors also seemed to have not been cleaned recently. Just walking around in the cabin our feet/socks were stained with the dirt from the floor, which was kind of sticky. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay here. The location is great - very close to the main strip of attractions in Pigeon Forge, but also tucked away out of sight. It was quiet back there. The price was reasonable for what was offered.

Peaceful Cabin - Close to Attractions

Thia cabin seems far away, but actually only a few minutes to attractions like Dollywood. Also, on the Gatlinburg side of Pigeon Forge, so easy travel that direction as well. The road to the cabin is paved, not overly steep. There is enough parking for multiple vehicles. I will say the internet is spotty, but understandable since it is satellite. The cabin was very clean and zero issues with communication with the owner. Would fully recommend anyone to stay there!

Amazing views, relaxing getaway

I can’t say enough good about our stay. The cabin is on the top of a driveway with another cabin at the bottom, but you barely realize they’re there. Private views, three patios to enjoy and the hot tub. It was so clean! Whether you’re visiting to stay in the cabin for a weekend, or spending time in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, it couldn’t be more perfect! Comfortable beds, and even nicer that I could bring my dog. Thank you for the great getaway!

Fantastic host

The host is phenomenal! There was a slight problem with the hot tub & she was so easy to communicate with and quick to help us and make it right. We would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again! Perfect location, only about 7-8 minutes from the Parkway which makes it super easy to go let the pups out if you are bringing your furbabies along for a trip.

It was always so expensive to get 2-3 hotel rooms to sleep our family plus our dogs (which usually weren't welcome). We decided to offer a place to stay for the entire family including the furry ones.
