I did not get the amenities or the location and after driving 15 hours was stressed having to keep my kids I. The car nervous we did not have a place to stay. And an email was sent the day we were to check in but I was driving not checking emails. But after some time and extra phone calls I received another condo. And enjoyed the beach but the ceilings need repair

Winter get away

The condo itself was fabulous. They had everything you needed for a great vacation. I was there for 6 weeks. I had a few small issues and the company was very reactive and was able to fix them without interrupting my stay. The property was beautiful. My only issue with the property was that the pool wasn’t open in March. We are hardy souls up North and I would have taken a dip or 2. This was my first visit to Hilton Head and it was so lovely. This property is located on the North side and it is less busy and I absolutely loved it. It’s also located in a Gullah historical neighborhood and I learned so much about the Gullah culture. I attended the Baptist Church down the road and it was a fabulous experience. I highly recommend this condo, however, I also recommend renting a bike. I rode my bike to the beach because it was a ways away.

Wonderful Summer Getaway

My husband and I just spent a wonderful, relaxing week at The Spa at Port Royal Sound. The grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed the natural beach that was just steps away from our first floor condo with updated bathrooms and an updated kitchen. We also enjoyed using the pools and tennis courts.

Nice and clean condo for the weekend. Amenities were great. This is on on the beach but located on the sound. We drive to Folly Field beach and spent a few hours then came back to condo and used the pools.

My go-to place for every HHI stay

This condo is perfect!! The complex is beautiful, clean, close to everything. It's probably 50 yards from the door to toes in the sand. Also beachfront pool, indoor pool, fitness center, hot tub. I could live here!

A hidden gem

A very cozy hidden gem. The condo had everything we needed. Beds were comfy & not to hard or soft. Everything was in working order. Long code to get in the door, but the key pad is user friendly. Will definitely rent this same condo in the future.

Nice beach access!

The condo was nicely furnished and clean upon arrival. The screened in porch is a a nice touch for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The beach is a short walk and there are paths around the complex for strolling. I’m giving it a 4 because there is an overwhelming sewage smell outside when walking in from the parking area, the air conditioning vent in the back bedroom makes the entryway to the bedroom wet, and I would have loved a hair dryer included.

Nice Experience

Home was very clean. This was our first time renting a home and our experience was pretty good. Love the book that was left explaining what the owner expects when we leave. Love that they had the television set up for us to view without us entering our own information. Really close to the beach. Only negative was the parking. Didn’t know it was a parking fee until after we booked. Other than that it was a good stay.

Couples getaway

Cute place. Very quiet and relaxing. Code didn't work when we arrived..pin pad seemed dead..didn't light up or beep when we pressed the given code. Had yo call a number provided and they gave us a cide to the lock box that held a physical key to get in, there were 4 if us and only one key so we really had to keep track of comings n goings instead if everyone having the code. Other than that the place itself was nice, clean and has everything you need.

Cute place.

Overall the place is nice and quaint and clean. It was close to the water and the pools were clean. It was also a quiet place. The negatives were more annoyances than anything. I haven't stayed in a place without a hair dryer in probably 20 years. I didn't bring mine because there has always been one. Code on the door was too long and it usually took numerous tries for it to work. We weren't told about the $20 cash parking fee until after we booked and sent everything the day before we got there. It was missing some of the simple touches that most of the places we've stayed have had.

The Spa

Was a nice location! Found sitting water from the air conditioner and carpet was soaking wet when we arrived! Several phone calls to the property manager and several hours later they sent someone out to fix it! Then we had to ask for a box fan so we could dry the floor! Furniture was little worn and could use updated! Beds were very hard!

Nice Spot

Our family stayed at this property for two nights. Overall we truly had a positive experience. The condo was super clean and had everything we needed. The beach was just a short walk. It was a beautiful view and the beach there was great for exploring, however folly field was better for swimming with the 4 kids. The only negatives about the condo were i felt like the 10 digit code for the door was excessive. We had to make sure we had our phones out every time we got to the door because it was impossible to remember the code. Also, there was a knock on the door at noon on friday which was a realtor showing the property. I felt like had they let us know someone was coming it wouldn’t have been a big deal, but there was no heads up to where we could be out of the unit or even prepared in the least.

Great little place...nice property.

I stayed here with my wife and two 1 year old boys for a long weekend. The two bedroom/two bathroom set up was perfect for us. It is a short walk to the beach BUT the beach is not necessarily what most would think of as a nice, relaxing beach, especially during low tide in the morning. The water at low tide was super far out and it was more just rocks/sand/mud without much of an area to layout your belongings. We ended up going down to Islanders Beach Park (Folley Field Beach also works) which is about a 10 minute drive down the road. Much better beach options. The only other negatives were the lack of basic amenities within the condo. There were coffee machines but no filters (you can also bring Keurig pods) and while there were plenty of utensils/pots/pans, there wasn't any salt/pepper/oils, etc....so make sure you bring absolutely everything you need ingredient wise. Also, extra trash bags would have been nice, and the 10 digit entry code is a little ridiculous. But the place was very clean and well laid out, and both pools are extremely nice as well!

Perfect family get away

This was just what we needed! It is a older apartment complex, but this unit has been nicely renovated. It's not fancy, but it is very nice. We have 5 people, the youngest was 16, so essentially 5 adults and we just had enough room. The property has 2 pools and 2 ponds. The ponds have various fish, including coi, and adorable turtles. There are lots of trees providing shade, tons of azaleas, rhododendrons, ferns, and other plants. Little paths lead you around the property and offer swings and benches to enjoy the shade. There are a ciuple if picnic tables and outdoor grills (you'll need a scrub brush and charcoal). You can easily walk out to the beach, where the natural setting continues. This beach is on a sound, so you dont get the huge waves and it isnt quite as loud. You do have more gentle waves and the opportunity to see sand crabs, hermit crabs, and other varieties of crab. You really should wear sandles or water shoes to protect your feet because there are tons of oyster shells and some rocky areas. It's not as crowded as most beaches and you have lots of areas to walk around and explore, so it was perfect for us. You can walk out to the ocean (maybe 1/2 mile) to get to bigger waves. The entire island is great for bikes. There are tons of nice wide paths for bikes or for walking. We rented bikes one day and I wish we had them the entire week (poor planning on my part). If you have more than 4 guests, bring an extra washcloth per person.

Not near the beach, poor communication with rental company

Pros- clean place (bug traps everywhere). Close to nearby beaches (10 min drive). The beach you are on is the sound with very little waves and the tide pulls the water very far out. Nice pools/pool area. Cons- Broken patio door (off track, safety hazard to open and shut), was unable to use the patio all week. AC went out day 4. The company came to fix it and luckily had a used fan in their vehicle (it had already gotten to 80 degrees in the room) but unsure if a new one had been installed. The humidity in the room remained between 60-70% all week so the sheets seemed damp and our towels and bathing suits would not dry. The dishwasher was not screwed to the countertop so it was difficult to use. The fridge stopped making ice and apparently the filter was old. We could live with all of the issues but every time we texted Vacasa they promised a call from “the local team” which we never got. The door also stopped taking the code and they were supposed to email a code and never did. I had to go on their app to find it. The communication is VERY lacking.
