This home is located almost directly in the middle of the island, meaning it is easy to get to Eastsound Village, our biggest city! Find shops, restaurants, and beautiful views in Eastsound. Or tour one of the many local farms and wineries. Everything is located within a couple of miles of the Island Market and Ray's Pharmacy, which are the island's prime spots for shopping for your essentials and gifts.

View Home close to Eastsound

Great for a crowd. We had a few bumps with cleanliness but with the three king beds and separate three bathrooms it was nice for 3 couples. Big entertainment deck with 180 degree views of Orcas and beyond.

Amazing views

And that’s why you rent this house. The lower deck is dangerous and should be avoided. The upper deck is covered in sap. But, oh, the views over the San Juan Islands!!

Incredible views!

This was my second time staying at this home, and the views are incredible! Absolutely magical! The bedrooms and primary bathroom are nice and very functional, but the house could use a little care and updating. The kitchen and grill work well for dinners at home.

Glorious Mountain Getaway

All of Orcas Island seems wonderful and the village of East Sound is delightful. We were especially pleased, however, to be "up the mountain" at this wonderfully private, spacious home. Local contact with property manager added greatly to the experience.

Amazing View

Wow! What an amazing view of Orcas and the islands. We made sure to be on the deck for the sunset each night. Plenty of room and comfy beds for 9 adults. We cooked meals and there was everything we needed to cook with.

Fantastic property

Our family and friends had a wonderful stay. The views are better in person and the sunsets are endless. Easy drive into town. There is plenty to do for people of all ages. This was our second stay at the property, ages 1-44years old. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable, and the home is clean. We didn't want to leave this slice of paradise!

Fantastic view

Very spacious and fantastic views all around. However, we encountered an issue with the water heater our last night there. The shower downstairs did not heat up, and I had to use the master shower which turned cold halfway through. Overall, still an enjoyable experience.

Wow what a view!

The moment you walk into this house, you are hit with one of the most amazing views I have ever seen from the comfort of a big spacious home. There is a tv in every room, and I don't think turned on the tv more than once. I just wanted to sit and take in the amazing view, and the fresh mountain air.

Perfect Respite from the Busy City Life

The amenities were perfect, and the view can’t be beat. I loved the sunset view and we saw eagles, humpbacks, seals, harbor porpoises, and tons of other wildlife from the back deck. There are even binoculars, so you can get a close up view. There is an Eagle’s nest nearby, so you can see them easily with the naked eye

Bad Condition

The views from this home are amazing and that's why we rented this home. The Floors in the kitchen were dirty, the home was dusty and has cobwebs throughout. The home smells like mildew. The ground around the home are not takecare of. The elevated decks have rotten wood and loose boards very unsafe. This home is in major need of repairs and not worth the rental price. Home owner does not take care of this home and it looks like it has not been updated since it was built. I could go on and on but it's not worth the time. Unsafe deck, bad windows, mildew issue, would not recommend this home until repairs and upgrades are made then it would be great.

Magnificent views from an older property

Our group of 8 enjoyed the magnificent views from this interesting property. The drive up to the house is not for the faint of heart. In the winter, it would be extremely challenging. When we arrive, the heat was not turned on and it was very cold. We were looking forward to having wood-burning fires in each of the fireplaces but unfortunately, they did not leave us firewood as I had requested in advance. We contacted them and someone brought firewood later that night. The master suite is really nice in the bathroom is incredible and is very appropriate for anyone with handicaps with all the grab bars. Kitchen is well outfitted, except we were missing knives and forks. In the quantity of eight. We use the barbecue extensively on the deck. Nice seating outside, and a table. Downstairs the family room has been converted into a bedroom with three beds. That bathroom contains the sauna, which we did use quite a bit. It turns on easily and heats up quickly. Unfortunately, the windows desperately needed to be cleaned, which impacted our view. But overall a wonderful stay. They will not let you check in early FYI even if someone is not even there.

What a beautiful place.

If you are looking for a beautiful place to relax and unwind. This is the place. Stunning, panoramic views surround you on the deck. Sunsets sing the day away with their amazing colors. With a grill, maragita blemder, kitchen and 8 person dining table - you really have everything you could need. When you make the reservation be sure to take the master bedroom. The wake up views alone were worth it. We were just a family of 4, with 2 adults, an 8 year old and a 91 year old. Everyone had an amazing time!

Beautiful Views of the Islands

The house is spacious, with lots of sleeping options for large groups (we were 8 women). House is dated, but was clean. Appreciated bathrooms and a kitchen well stocked with towels! Living room desperately needs better lighting for reading.

Spectacular views in a warm, spacious and well equipped home.

This is a unique and wonderful home. We adored it. That said, there are a few things that would make it better: tv in liv room needs better positioning to see from a chair and to be working. The oven does not hold heat and work properly. There needs to be better lighting and more furniture in the liv room. Leak under sink a problem. We did report these things to the house cleaner. Overall wonderful but very very dated in some ways.

Amazing view

You just cannot beat that view. The house was clean, spacious, beds were comfortable, and vacasa was very responsive to an electrical problem, sending someone up to sort it out within hours. Highly recommend

Fantastic trip with friends

There where nine of us on this trip and we where all very comfortable. The view was amazing and was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend if you are coming to orcas island.
