We were in town for a family funeral. This home is clean, has all the basics and was very peaceful. It was nice to sit on deck at the end of the day and watch a few golfers. Away from traffic and daily bustle, made it perfect for our needs. Cassidy was great. Very quick to respond and help.
Positives: The house worked very well for our travel needs. It was clean, had enough space for our family and was pet friendly. The neighborhood was very nice also, easy to walk the dogs around the block. It was nice that the owner provided laundry and dishwasher pods and coffee for the Keurig. Negatives: only one really. The kitchen has bare essentials but key on word bare. The kitchen definitely needs more plates, silverware, perhaps a crock pot. Felt you had to constantly run the dish washer.
8 of us [3 generations] stayed six nights in this rather spacious house with good beds and plenty of bedding, towels, and two nice bathrooms--one very spacious. Very handy to attractions in Richmond and in Berea. We didn't use the house much during the day--spending time with family in Berea [EASY commuting distance] and did almost no cooking there. Would be first choice if booking again in the area.

The bath tub showers do not work or very difficult to figure out how to work. We had to take baths instead of showers.
Good property near the wedding venue for my daughter’s wedding celebration. House large enough for all of my family and my siblings to stay together and enjoy the visit.
We were in town for our daughter’s wedding. This was exactly as described with plenty of room for the family and the host was extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
The overall property and stay was very good. The only disappointment is that the kitchen was not stocked with items for convenience. Such as, electric griddle, there is not a bar/ b- q grill. The coffee pot was a challenge to work, and it was only a Keurig, which was not convenient for a large number of people staying. We were in town for a wedding and the only mirrors are in the bathrooms which made it difficult for the ladies to get ready. All in all, it was a clean comfy place to stay in a very nice location.
We had plenty of space for the 6 of us to gather in the kitchen or family room. And also plenty of space to be separated when we felt like it. Views from the back deck wete wonderful!
This was perfect for what my family was looking for!!! There were 9 of us in town for a wedding.
It fit all 9 of us very well. Plenty of linens and so close to our venue. I would stay again if a time ever arises. Thank you.
Overall, this rental was decent but not great. We had 7 adults staying for a wedding and it was enough space to all sleep and not be on top of each other. However, we planned to cook 2 meals a day and the kitchen was not well stocked. Very few pans. We ended up purchasing a cutting board, sponge and dish towels and had brought some things with us. While there were just enough dishes, just wasn’t as well stocked as all other vacation rentals we have stayed in. Also, while nice that a Keurig and pods were supplied there is not an actual coffee maker which would be nicer for a large group. We also didn’t have really enough bathroom towels for all of us for 4 days. Felt more like a place where you would just be there to sleep but otherwise not really hangout with a large group of adults
This was a good option for multi-generational family gathering. Loved having washer/dryer and large main bath and two levels separating generations. Directions for operating TVs would be helpful.
We needed a place for our family and 2 small dogs. This was the perfect 1/2 way point. The house was just as it was listed. Very clean, nice welcome sign with ideas for things to do in the area and straightforward house use and checkout instructions. Easy booking and communication with Cassidy. Zero complaints.

Needs work
At first glance the house looks nice, however, when you are there for a little while things come to your attention. For instance - a toaster and waffle maker are a nice addition to have in a VRBO - a few pots and pans to cook with would have been much nicer.
FIX THE MASTER BATHROOM DOOR! The door does not latch or stay closed. Given the proximity between the door and the toilet it is VERY awkward.
Neither of the sinks in the master bathroom drained well.
There are no drain stoppers in either of the bathtubs. So, if you wanted to take a bath you were forced to make due by stuffing a washcloth in the drain.
If you are going to offer a garage how about leaving a garage door opener?
Fix the nail sticking out on the stairs. My husband had to see a podiatrist and get at tetanus shot because of this.
There is a light in the master bedroom that flickers constantly.
While we were there one of the smoke detector batteries needed to be changed - there were no batteries available.
This house is advertised as having four bedrooms. By real estate standards this is a three bedroom home (no closet in the fourth). Also, no separate entry for advertised fourth bedroom - who wants to keep going through another person's bedroom.
There is the most annoying sound coming from the ceiling or the light fixture in the bedroom at top of the stairs.
This house is advertised as sleeping 10 people. Well, I have to tell you there is no way possible that 10 people are going to get a shower with hot water.
