My favorite of my homes! This is a brand new Park Model home with new everything. There is a Queen bed in the bedroom down stairs, and a queen bed with relaxing chairs, up stairs in the loft room. The roomy living area has a modern sofa that folds down into a bed. You'll find a full kitchen and bathroom, and a table to dine at. Expand your living space onto the deck outside, and this tiny home has it all.
You have access to the entire home and deck area. And also the laundry facilities. There is one dedicated space to park your car in space number 5.
Sage house is located inside the Coastal Creek Mobile Home Park. There are some long term tenants and 5 other short term rentals in the park. Your neighbors are all super nice and generally stick to themselves.
The mobile home park has a one way road with a marked entrance and exit side. The Sage House is nestled away in the far left corner of the property. Parking space number 5 is to the left of the home.

The owners were very prompt in their responses to our questions and needs. The property was very clean and they made check in and check out very easy. The creek view off the patio was very nice. Parking was limited.
Small house but had everything we needed. Location is great!
Stream by patio was very pleasant.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
I somehow didn’t get the access code to the property. I Called Expedia multiple times and you guys just hung up on me. Not booking through Expedia again.😡
Celebrated our niece’s bday in SLO. The tiny house was perfect for my husband, mother-in-law, and our small dog. Convenient location, super clean, comfortable beds, and everything we needed for a comfortable weekend visit.
The peaceful tiny home was a tiny, peaceful, perfect stay! The kitchen was fully equipped for us to whip up a beautiful dinner and there was plenty of space to sleep. So comfortable, hosts were so accommodating, I couldn’t ask for more :)
We loved staying at Tessa’s property. We were able to fit three adults and three children into the tiny house, which worked very well versus having to do a hotel. Tessa was extremely responsive to questions we had and we would rate her as a phenomenal host. We did have some issue with noise from the neighbors on the Saturday evening of our stay, but we were able to reach out to Tessa, and she was able to contact them.
It was fine for a short stay. Very clean, nicely decorated and the host was great with all communications. Be sure you know that it is very small. The loft has a low ceiling, so no standing up there, and there is no table where a family of 4 can sit and eat (there is a bar with 3 seats). The kitchen has the basics, but nothing extra. A few small issues - several of the vertical blinds were missing so when you close the blinds, you can still see straight in at night. Also, the bathroom door sticks and is very difficult to open and close.
The first night we were there was a couple fighting in the laundry room for 10 min or so. Slamming doors and loud shouting. The laundry door sits within 5 ft of the entrance to the cottage. This was at 10:30pm on the night of our arrival. It was a little unnerving. The next night was without incidence. The place is cute and the beds are very comfortable. The couch is uncomfortable to sit on for longer periods of time. We spent most of our days exploring so that wasn’t an issue. The place was well appointed and very clean.
My sister and I thought it was brilliant what Tessa has don't and is doing with her property. Our unit backed up to the Eucalyptus tree-lined creek that flows through San Luis Obispo. We loved our private deck also facing the creek. Everything was very clean and fresh! The neighbors are close but sound wasn't an issue. The upstairs bedroom is challenging for adults in regards to ceiling height, but we knew that going in. And, my sister volunteered to stay in the loft. :) We will stay there again when we go visit my son. Thanks, Tessa!
Not everyone will like this place, simply because it is in, more or less, a trailer park for "tiny homes." It ain't the Ritz-Carlton. But the important thing for me was that it was fragrance-free, as I am SEVERELY allergic to the chemical fragrances in most detergents. And the people who run the "tiny home park," if I may, were extremely attentive to my needs, and you can't really ask for more than that.
I was surprised to learn that they usually DO wash the sheets in fragrances -- normally that is a deal-breaker for me, because the chemicals leach into the pillows and mattresses, and switching to a non-fragrance detergent doesn't do the trick. But it was explained that the regular detergent with fragrance was a natural, non-chemical version. I might have declined coming had I known that in advance; but I'm glad I went, because, to my surprise, I didn't have any problems breathing.
So I must highly recommend this tiny home, and I think I can safely assume that the other timy homes in the park are equally "safe" for chemical-sensitive people like me.
It's VERY hard to find share rentals that can accommodate my needs, so they are to be commended to the highest degree.
First off, I want to say that this place was absolutely stunning. I did not realize we’d have such a private view of the creek, and it was so amazing. My friends and I loved having our morning coffee by the eucalyptus trees while we listened to the rushing water and chirping birds. And the frogs croaking in the evening were adorable.
When we arrived, the back bedroom bed was not made and looked like it had been slept in. I honestly didn’t even notice at first because I was so happy with the place, it took my friend pointing me out to realize. We messaged Tessa promptly, and she was WONDERFUL! She apologized profusely and helped us get into the laundry room for clean sheets, and offered to have her cleaner come and make the bed properly for us. Turns out her cleaner just spaced on the back bedroom, as we all do from time to time! The next morning when we were out and about her cleaner came by to tidy up and remake the bed, and she even left us a gift basket with some snacks as an apology. Tessa was great with communication, and was so helpful with everything. Plus, the snacks were delicious. :)
The home itself was great as well. Much more spacious than I expected. My friends and I were able to cook dinner every night in the full kitchen, which is something really important to us. We had one person in the loft, and two in the back bedroom, but we easily could’ve had our own bed if one of us decided to be on the pullout.
Overall, the space was gorgeous, and the interior was decorated very tastefully. It was an amazing spot to come back to after a day exploring SLO and the neighboring areas. If you’re thinking about booking this home, I highly recommend it! I’m already thinking of coming back with my mother. :)
Renting it Qasim very easy. The owner responded promptly. We were surprised there was only a space heater. We were surprised by the really low loft ceiling. There need to be sheets available in the trailer for the couch bed. Overall, just fine accommodations for our purposes.
This home is one of multiple homes available to rent at this park. It is a brand new unit as of 2022, and has been meticulously cleaned and maintained.
We purchased this mobile home park and had big dreams for a tiny home community, that allowed families and friends to stay in an affordable and comfortable space to explore our favorite place on earth!
We immediately replaced 11/15 homes with brand new, beautiful homes, and redid the entire property.
We’ve created a space that has hosted thousands of guests now! It is a peaceful and quite community that guests have come to love. There are several long term guest that are incredible nice and keep to themselves.
Parking is tight, but we’ve managed a dedicated space to each home, including several first come first served reserved spaces!
