Cute home with some issues

We stayed for one night during our ladies trip to round top. The home was cute and charming. The home was also convenient for Round Top shopping. We did however have a few issues…the house did not have any toilet paper. I notified the owner but she never provided any toilet paper. Also, the moment you open the door you are hit with the very strong aroma of plug in air fresheners. We unplugged them as soon as we could, but the cheap, artificial air freshner smell never really eased up. Finally, the water has a very strong and unpleasant sulfur smell, so strong that we did not want to shower. I know we traveled during peak round top season, but we paid over $600 for one night, and considering that price plus the accommodation, we will likely not return.

Great place

The farmhouse was great for our stay in Round Top for the winter market. Very close to Round Top and it worked well for 2 moms and our 2 daughters!

Nice house

Everything was nice. The owner gave great recommendations. The only issue was the owner told us checkout time was 9:00 but the website said 11:00. A little disappointing that we had to rush out.

This was a nice cabin, clean and in the perfect location for our stay. The are is great for antique enthusiasts or people that enjoy all things vintage. We enjoyed our stay!

Round Top Gem in quaint town of Carmine Texas

The house is much larger than the pictures and well appointed . Kristi the owner was very sweet and accommodating. She gave me a quick run down for Round Top Antique Show. Her suggestions to spend the most time in Warrarenton was spot on. We will definitely be going back to Round Top but this time with a uhaul as the shipping is pricey and we would stay at this cute Carmine home. I appreciate Kristi opening up her beautiful home to us and I highly suggest staying here by yourself or party of 10. It was only 2 of us this time and next time we will be bringing our husbands as this would be a great couples trip. Cozy clean and hospitable gem of home in Carmine,Texas.

Short Girls Getaway

Property was perfect for a girls getaway! Very clean and every item you could need was provided! Host and her four legged assistant Ruth were amazing! Will definitely book again for next trip!
