You'll find four floors equipped with amenities to complement an island getaway. Less than three miles north of the new Surf City bridge and about six miles south of the north bridge, your beach vacation begins at Island Paradise, the closest beach house to Surf City and its popular dining and shopping establishments.

Let your memorable vacation begin the moment you arrive on the professionally landscaped grounds. With ample parking and an elevator to do all the heavy lifting, such as luggage and groceries, you can quickly make a date with your favorite book or beverage in the private, heated pool/spa or enjoy the incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean and Topsail Beach from a comfortable deck chair on one of three outdoor balconies. Let the kids enjoy their own outdoor fun in the pirate ship playhouse while you breathe in the fresh, salty air. Take a quick rinse in the outdoor, private shower after a dip in the pool or a swim in the sea.

Inside, the vacation home offers a tranquil retreat from a full day at the beach. You'll find a serene sleeping environment with comfortable bedding in six primary suites, two bunk rooms, and two sofa beds. Four suites are oceanfront with spectacular views and direct outdoor balcony/deck access. Each suite has a private, full bath and closet, and all bedrooms are equipped with a TV and ceiling fans.

The house features a large, well-equipped game room with a full-sized pool table, an air hockey table, a wet bar, a refrigerator, a bathroom, and game closets for family fun. Sliding doors in the room take you from game time to chill time on the balcony and provide access to the eight-person hot tub.

The home's top floor offers a wall of windows and a glass door to an exterior balcony to best enjoy the incredible colors of the Atlantic Ocean and beachfront. A large living room has sofas and swivel chairs to ensure everyone is in the conversation. Surround sound stereo accompanies a TV, and an extensive library of movies and games will keep everyone entertained. Vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan - including the living, kitchen, and dining rooms - make the top floor great for entertaining large groups.

The kitchen features granite countertops, two ovens, a five-burner cooktop, two dishwashers, multiple coffee makers, multiple toasters, bar seating, and plenty of pots and pans. The top floor also features a large walk-in pantry and a private nook with a computer desk, printer, and free WIFI to help you stay connected.

Family Vacation 2024

Air conditioner did not work on middle floor which was very uncomfortable for guests on that floor. Other than that everything was great.

Disappointing

We have stayed at this property in the past and had wonderful experiences, but unfortunately, our recent stay was a major disappointment. The property has not been maintained and has fallen into disrepair, with cleanliness and basic functionality lacking throughout the house. Several amenities, including TVs, appliances, and the pool area, were either broken or poorly maintained, making our stay far from the relaxing vacation we expected. Given the cost, we were very disappointed and hope to see significant improvements before considering another stay.

Great location and large oceanfront home

We had an amazing week with family. The home is so spacious and there is plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone. The king beds are so comfortable and the pillows are amazing! The pavilion and beach access is amazing and so convenient. We loved dining right next door and enjoying the live music most nights! There are a ton of sand toys and floats that have either been left behind by prior guest or offered by the owner, which was so nice! This house is beautiful but really in need of some improvements. The TV upstairs was incredibly difficult to navigate, even after someone from Vacasa coming out and trying to fix it for us. The wifi is spotty and pretty weak anywhere but on the top level therefore the other TVs are touch and go for streaming. All decks are splintering and have several rusty nails sticking out so wear your shoes or flip flops. I wouldn’t count on using the pirate ship as a playspace for children, it was in pretty rough shape. The air hockey table is broken, beyond repair from what the Vacasa staff member said when they came to service it. The pool was broken when we arrived but Vacasa sent someone out to repair it. The pool/deck area is in desperate need of a deep cleaning and landscaping. We arrived to beer cans, beer caps, and lots of trash. Several of the lounge chairs are broken and should really be removed from the deck. Overall of course we had an incredible time and Vacasa was very prompt in their response when we brought up the issues we had. For a home this outdated, the price was too high for us to consider using this property again.

Worst Vacation House and Mgmt Co EVER

Complaints are as follows: 1) The A/C was not working and the 1st and 2nd levels were unbearable. A/C compressor was finally repaired 2 days later. 2) The previous guests' trash bins were full 3) The upstairs primary bedroom had a large crack in the window. 4) Black mold was found on the living room and bathroom ceiling. 5) The pool pump was making an extremely loud noise. It finally stopped working altogether AND MORE....

Mediocre stay

The location was excellent. Lots of issues with this property. Needs lots of updating. TV difficult to use. Several times we could not even turn it on. Furniture is old and nasty. Sinks don’t drain, some lights don’t work, dishwasher doesn’t work well, carpets are old etc. wouldn’t rent this one again!!

Love Topsail

We’ve stayed at this property two years in a row now. The size of the home and location are great. House also has a lot of nice amenities. It is in need of some updating (carpet, furniture, kitchen cookware) especially considering the amount of money charged.

First time in Top Sail

Having never stayed in Top Sail before we weren’t sure where to stay but found this house to be in a great location. Easily got to anywhere we decided to go. Loved the private beach access and pavilion. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Would definitely book again.

Great beachfront property!

This was a great location for our extended family ranging in age from 2 years to 58 years! The common spaces were great with lots of room to eat together. The hot tub and pool were great amenities that were used often as well as the great covered space to store our beach stuff each day instead of lugging it up to the house. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of space to cook (which we do every night). The 2 dishwashers were nice, but the one of the left of the sink wasn't working well (no drying ) and didn't get the dishes completely clean (we just rinsed really well and had to hand dry after it ran). There was construction going on next door with loud banging starting at 8am every morning, which isn't the owner's fault, but just be aware in the next month or so. The access to the beach was great and was truly beachfront. There are plenty of bathrooms, which is needed with so many people staying in one house. We weren't able to use the elevator due to the new law put in place, but were compensated for this. You WILL get a workout on the steps, but we figured we needed it with all of the food and beverages that were consumed over the week! Thank you for a wonderful time!
