About the area
Estes Park
Estes Park is home to this cabin. The Stanley Hotel and Historic Estes Park are notable landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Rocky Mountain National Park. Consider Performance Park for a night out or Tiny Town Miniature Golf if you're travelling with kids.
This cabin is amazing. Beautiful location and well-appointed cabin with everything you could want. The hosts were very attentive. Best memory: sitting around the deck's fire pit in the evening, wrapped in the blankets provided, gazing at the stars.
We absolutely loved staying here! It was clean and cozy. The deck had such an incredible view, too! The best part was the hosts! They are kind, accommodating, and incredibly responsive. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
Mike and Sarah have put together a perfect vacation getaway. The home is clean, has great amenities and was truly beautiful. Communication was excellent and we were able to enjoy our stay.😁
We had an incredible stay in this beautiful, comfortable, convenient home that has *incredible* views of the Colorado Rockies! Mike and Sarah are truly amazing hosts and went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. We couldn't be happier with the house and the hosts. We will definitely be staying there again the next time we are in Estes Park.
Our family had an awesome stay. Mike and Sarah were fabulous. Went above and beyond to answer any questions and made check in and check out soo easy. If your looking for a 5 star house with an amazing views, you wont be disappointed. House is stunning inside too, house is stocked with so much if you forgot anything Im sure they have it for you in the house. We will definitely be back to the Estes Park area and will definitely rent this house again. We had the best vacation, highly recommend to anyone!!!
11/10 The house is that exceptional. Very convenient to town. The views are spectacular. You really must see the views at sunrise/sunset in person. The are simply breathtaking. The house itself was very clean and comfortable. My family had a wonderful stay. The hosts are also top notch. They took care of even the smallest of details and offered additional kid friendly items that were greatly appreciated. They were also very responsive via text and email. The check-in process couldn’t be any easier. I would highly recommend this property to anyone needing accommodations for a larger family. We definitely won’t hesitate to reserve this property again for our next trip to Estes Park.
My family (consisting of an infant, 6 year old, a teen, and multiple adults) just completed a stay at this property, and I have to say that it is the best property I have ever stayed at! The owners have thought of everything -- toys for kids, items for babies and toddlers, amenities in the bathrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen. PLUS, the house is amazing! The view off the enormous deck is gorgeous and the location is perfect. Check-in and out was so easy, too. My whole family was just awestruck when they stepped into the house (which was the expression I was hoping for!). I HIGHLY recommend this property!
We visit Estes Park every year staying in either a VRBO or hotel and so we know when we come across a hidden Estes' gem and Mike's and Sarah's cabin is one of them! The home is wonderfully updated and superbly clean with generous room in the kitchen, two master suites and upstairs bedrooms. The well crafted deck is enormous and allows for great views of Rocky Mountain National Park. The property is large allowing for the kids to explore the rocky outcroppings and perfectly located ~5 minutes from the National Park and downtown Estes. Mike and Sarah are phenomenal hosts responding quickly to questions we had and providing tips making our stay a truly remarkable one.
We have stayed at many VRBO homes over the years and we firmly believe that it always starts with the owner/property manager. Mike and Sarah were the absolute best to deal with. We had stayed in this house a few times previous to them taking it over and it was great. However, the improvements they’ve made on it really added a lot. It is in a great location that makes accessing either RMNP or the town a snap. The views are magnificent and the interior of the home is so peaceful and beautiful. We will be back
I cannot say enough good things about our stay in this house. We spent several days there with our daughter, our son and his wife, and our three granddaughters, celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary. The house was spacious, beautiful, convenient to Rocky Mountain National Park and a grocery store (but away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Estes Park), and met our every need. The view from the deck was magnificent. Prior to our visit, the property manager promptly responded to all our emails. We had great internet connectivity, which made it possible for our daughter-in-law to be with us and work remotely.
This home has a beautiful mountain location, with gorgeous views, large rooms, gas fireplaces, and an available two car garage. We particularly appreciated the “little things” provided by the owners: dish soap, dishwasher soap, clothes washer soap, coffee and tea. The owners always responded quickly to our concerns. On Christmas Eve, we had a small plumbing issue. He had a repair person at the house within an hour! All of us agreed we would eagerly return to this home in the future.
We had an outstanding stay at Timberwolf Lodge! Our only regret is that it was too short! My family and I were in town for a local wedding, and this home provided a wonderful base for us between rehearsal dinners and wedding.
Communication with Mike and Sarah was excellent throughout the process. The home had everything we needed to be comfortable, including a fully-equipped kitchen with plenty of spices and cookware, basic condiments in the fridge (the ones you hate to have to buy, knowing you are only going to use a small amount), a lovely bottle of wine from a local winery (which we unfortunately did not have time to drink), plenty of coffee - both drip and k-cup, and a basket of welcome snacks.
There are two primary bedrooms with en suite bathrooms on the main floor, which was ideal since we traveled with my 87 year old mother. My adult children were in the bedrooms on the upper level.
It was absolutely beautiful waking up to windows that looked out onto the mountains each morning. The bed that we slept it was so cozy and I'm not sure what detergent they used for their sheets, but I just loved the scent!
The back deck, which also looked at the mountains, was a wonderful spot to enjoy some refreshments prior to the wedding. The house had many TVs for entertainment options, but we primarily just used the living room TV to gather around and watch the Olympics during our downtime.
We hope to be back again in the future! Thanks Mike and Sarah - you guys were terrific!
Truth is in my title to this review. My husband, Scott & I(Sandy) live in Missouri; he decided to book a two day getaway for us & our daughter’s family, who live in Colorado. Our group included two sets of grandparents, our daughter, husband, & their three children, ages 6, 3, & 11 months. Having the pack & play & high chair was such a help.
The kitchen was well-equipped with, well, everything we needed!! Utensils, pans of many sizes, spices galore, cups, wine glasses . . . not to mention even a complimentary bottle of wine & a basket of snacks! Thank you!! That was over the top in thoughtfulness.
The laundry room was wonderful & if we had stayed more than two days we would have used the washer & dryer. But the extra space alone was a big help.
All the furniture was comfortable & looked great with amazing views out the back. Bedrooms & bathrooms were spacious, with a huge tub the grandkids loved.
Let’s talk about that huge deck! Gorgeous views of the mountains!! We saw chipmunks, deer, so many birds, & an elk in a distant field. The kids had space to play & run around on the deck; they had fun. The BBQ worked great & when it was noticed more gas was needed, we found an extra tank in the garage. And the sunset viewing from there . . . gorgeous!
We also went on a couple “adventure walks” around the house; so many pretty flowers, cool rocks, & again, the view from the top around the house was beautiful.
Thanks to our hosts for thinking of everything, & then some.
Beautiful view, well-stocked place, and super easy check-in!
