A Beautiful Lodge That Meets or Exceeds All Expectations

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've rented lodges in the Sevierville/Gatlinburg area for many years, but this was our first stay in HawksVue. The lodge is breathtaking inside and out and everything about it suited our needs to perfection. We loved having so many bedrooms with king-sized beds.Briefly stated, this lodge was everything it was advertised to be, and we couldn't have asked for more. NOTE: During our stay, we left food cooking in the oven a bit too long, something boiled over, we smoked up the lodge, and the stove stopped working. We called maintenance, and they sent someone within an hour. He fixed the oven quickly and all was well.NOTE: This property is under the management of Elk Springs Resort, and they always do an outstanding job!

Great Cabin with Comfortable Beds

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fantastic time at Hawks Vue for a guys weekend! It was really nice having 5 bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The pool table, good grilling equipment, hot tub, and fantastic view were really nice. It was also great being at the end of the road so it was really quiet and we had plenty of parking for 5 vehicles. We were about 15 mintues to gatlinburg and about 15 minutes to sevierville. I would also recommend Iron Mountain Sporting clays if you are looking to have some fun with shotguns. We had a blast!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We could not have been happier with our stay at HawksVue. The property was very clean, warm and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with all the dishes, pots and utensils we needed. The property manager was great with checking in and really reliable from the time we booked until our stay was over. the location was great only 30 minutes to Gatlinburg attractions and 15 to 20 minutes to the supermarkets. The HawksVue cabin is in the best on location, you're not near the other cabins which is a plus and the view is breath taking. I gave it a 3 star because there is no internet service. we could not enjoy the movie room and our laptops or phones. This is my personal thought because Wi Fi is important when your indoors and have to do work on your computer or want to stream. There was only Direct tv with basic channels. But I highly recommend this Cabin. i would stay here again if they invest in better WI FI Service.

One of the TV's in a bedroom on the main floor didn't work. We called and maintenance came out but it was the only TV in the cabin that ran its internet provider through the internet. The internet was very weak, so the TV didn't work. We enjoyed the pool table & the arcade game. We saw some dear and enjoyed the beautiful view.

We new the weather would be very cold with snow likely so we stopped and got all of our supplies before the trek up the mountain. That turned out to be a great decision. After it snowed, we didn't drive back down until our late checkout. Fun was had by all!

Hawksvue Cabin for 10-Just OK

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hawksvue Just OK — 1) 3 non functional televisions that the management company was aware of prior to arrival. Also owners do not provide cable on all televisions. 2) Responsiveness from property management company was poor via email and phone. We had to contact them daily for status on issues reported vs them proactively providing updates on known issue. For example, 2nd maintenance tech came to cabin said he would be back in 25 minutes to fix issues and never came back or called. We waited over 2 hours for his return. The next day we contacted the management office because no one ever came back or contacted us. The management office did not contact us although they advised they were aware that he was to return and they still not provide resolution to issue.3) Cleanliness- found several articles of clothing left by prior guest in the cabin and the windows were full of dust and cobwebs..Sent photos to the management office. 4) Internet/wifi was sketchy and unstable5) Hot tub takes 24 hours to heat. This needs to be included in the instructions. 6) Decent location for tri-cities, winding uphill roads, recommend 4 wheel drive vehicle. Good # of parking spaces. 7) Fully equipped kitchen 8) Can’t adjust thermostat max is 75 heat. 9) Accommodates 10 guests well

Couples Get-away

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our overall experience was great. The home was exactly as described at booking. The home had enough space for our entire party. The directions given where very easy to follow and led us directly to the home. The only suggestion is that the home could have been a bit cleaner. Whoever cleaned the home left hair on the bedding and a few towels. It was a used fake eyelash left under a sofa pillow and old towels left in the dryer that smelled unclean. Also, I would suggest bringing your own towels and wash cloths. The ones provided were very hard and rough on the skin. Even with those minor issues I would stay at HawksVue again in the future. Checkin and checkout was a breeze, and someone called when we arrived to ensure we where okay. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.
