Charming cottage near downtown and beach

The beaches are calling! Owl's Nest is your cozy, dog-friendly escape in St. Augustine. Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is conveniently located to all St. Augustine has to offer. We're a quick drive to St. Augustine Beach or Vilano Beach. After a day soaking in the sun, head downtown and try one of St. Augustine's amazing restaurants.

When you walk into the home you'll be welcomed by an open layout. Our living room features a comfortable couch and sleeper sofa where you can curl up with a good book or enjoy something on our 65" Roku television. Our dining area seats eight and is a great spot to fuel up for your day of exploring. Our kitchen features updated appliances and is fully stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, and silverware you need. We've got your coffee and tea covered! Brew a whole pot or a single cup in our coffee maker. Or, if you prefer a tea kettle, we have got you covered there as well. The dining area and living room make for an excellent gathering space.

The home has three bedrooms and a pull-out couch. The master suite features a queen bed and ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. There are two additional bedrooms in the home - a queen room and a room with a twin over-queen bunk. Our living room couch pulls out into a queen bed. An additional full bathroom features a combination tub/shower. Our home works well for a group of friends, three couples, or a family.

Out back, enjoy a relaxing afternoon in our covered outdoor space that features a couch and two chairs. Your furry friends will enjoy running around in our fully fenced-in backyard.

Great weekend getaway
We had a really great weekend. The house is so cute and was perfect for our size family. Everyone had a great time and we all enjoyed siting on the back porch at night. So close to the shops in St Augustine. Thank you for an awesome weekend. We will definitely be back in the future.

Beautiful Home
The house has a lovely interior. Nice modern bathrooms and kitchen. Lots of towels. Soap, bath wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers (nice and eco-friendly). Cute front porch. Lots of parking. Big back yard that was great for our dogs. If you do bring a dog, make sure you have a leash to get them to the backyard (no direct access from inside the house). Near a marina with food truck area and close to downtown. Overall a great experience.

Perfect Little Place!
Loved this house! It was perfect for our needs. Plenty of space for 2 teenagers and our aussie. Great neighbors/neighborhood for walking the dog as well. Very clean. Even had separate towels for any pet accidents so you arent mixing towels. Very close to St. George St. Not walkint distance but less than a 5 min drive. Highly recommend this house!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home was super clean when we arrived and had all the amenities and rooms as advertised. The kitchen was very well equipped. The house overall is very new and in excellent working condition. Downtown is a short drive away. We would gladly go back.

Ours stay in St Augustine was perfect from check in to check out. The property was accurately represented on VRBO. We especially liked the fenced in back yard as it was a great place for the dog to run and burn off some excess energy. The property was clean, up to date, and extremely comfortable. Highly recommend this property.

Fantastic family stay
We loved staying at the property with 6 adults, a toddler and a dog. The layout of the home is very well designed and comfortable to stay in. Loved having access to a fenced back yard d for our dog. The kitchen and living space were big enough for everyone to use. Really appreciated the pack and play, stroller and high chair for our one yea old. Very close drive to town, only took about 5 minutes. The host was very responsive when we had a question. I highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for something just outside of town.

A different view of city life
We had a wonderful stay. The onsite photos reflected the property and the furnishings exactly as we found them to be. It was clean and the owners gave a lot of thought to the amenities for the people who booked the property. There were even dog bowls and a mat for your pet. The master bathroom was very upscale. The kitchen was large and very functional. It had a very young feel to it. The owner instructions were very helpful, and we appreciated the food recommendations. The Urban Back 40 suggested was a great food place right across the street. We had one of our best lunches there. While not sure initially how to get downtown, it became very easy and not very long to get to the heart of St. Augustine. We would not hesitate to re-book.

Perfect home for a family gathering! Immaculately clean! Beautifully decorated! Short drive to beach and downtown area! Very child friendly….stroller, high chair and pack n play were very appreciated! Also kids plates, cups, etc. Definitely plan to stay again when visiting the area!

Had the best time!
This was our first time visiting St. Augustine. The home was just as pictured, very clean and we loved the location. The beds were comfy, we loved the front and back porch but our one and only complaint (which isn’t a real breaker) is that we wish the bedrooms had TVs so multiple people could watch TV in the evening if needed. The neighborhood is quiet and we had a chance to eat at Back 40 Urban Cafe which is just across the street to walk to. It was just a mile drive to the historic district and very convenient. The owners communicated quickly when needed. We will be back for sure.

Great House!
Charming home, located near all the action of the historic district via short drive. Clean, comfortable beds, modern decor. New home with all the amenities we needed (TV w/ Roku, dishwasher, Keurig, tea kettle and washer/dryer). Cozy back porch with cafe lights created the perfect ambience to relax. We were able to bring our dog, which was a major deciding factor.

Amazing getaway!
We decided to do something different for Thanksgiving this year and do St. Augustine. I'm so glad we did, the house was beautiful and comfortable. Historic St Augustine is a very short drive away. We love the cute and quiet neighborhood that was absolutely charming. The home was modern, bed comfortable. There was a lot of attention to detail including supplies for our fur baby. We even decided last minute to stay another night and they accomidated us immediately . Communication was excellent. This home has made it into my top 3 VRBO stays. Bring your dogs and kids or make it a romantic getaway ! This place will not disappoint.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean, tastefully decorated, and had more than enough room for our family of 5 + dog. The location is close to all attractions and amenities in St. Augustine. We really enjoyed sitting on the back porch with our coffee in the mornings. We also felt like the beds were very comfortable!
