Charming Cottage in Ideal Location

The Boathouse is extremely clean, comfortable, cozy, well appointed, and close to everything. It's walkable to Stonington borough restaurants, shops, and the water, and a short drive to area wineries and activities. The owners are responsive, friendly, and happy to help with local suggestions. We really enjoyed our time there, and look forward to returning.

The cottage is charming and made for a great place to relax, read and play cards. The hosts Deb and Tim made us feel welcome and were very helpful with suggestions of things to do in the area. We look forward to another opportunity to visit Stonington Borough and staying at the cottage again.

Wonderful weekend getaway!

The boathouse was the perfect place for our spontaneous quiet weekend getaway. The cottage is very charming and exceptionally clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication with Deb was great and the small personal touches like fresh flowers and coffee / tea made us feel very welcomed in her home. The cozy living room with fireplace was very relaxing and the bed was super comfortable. There were plenty of linens / towels as well as all of the kitchen essentials. The cottage is located within walking distance to great restaurants and shops as well as a short drive to mystic and the casino’s. We absolutely loved staying here and look forward to doing so again in the future!

Oasis!

I came in to a cozy setting: all immaculately kept with fresh flowers and even chicken noodle soup and sinus tea left for me as I mentioned I had a cold to the owners. I let the fire and settled in to watch some tv and couldn’t have been happier!

Sweetest Little Cottage !

Our stay at Deb's cottage was wonderful. It was perfectly located in Stonington, which we are glad we found, over staying in right in Mystic. The cottage was clean, welcoming and cozy. The fireplace was a wonderful feature to have too. We walked to breakfast and dinner a few times during our stay and really enjoyed looking at all the beautiful houses in the town. Deb was easy to reach and offered great recommendations. Thank you again!

Delightful and charming!

Deb and Tom, the owners of this cottage couldn't have been more welcoming and kind. Everything was impeccably clean and organized. The cottage was an easy walk to the Dog Watch restaurant and harbor. I lived in Stonington 20 years ago and staying at this property brought back so many happy memories of the vitality and warmth of the village. Would definitely highly recommend and look forward to a return visit to this cottage.

Convenient, comfortable place in the Borough

Super clean and comfortable place to spend a week, or more, as a couple or a single. Deb is a lovely hostess and was always easy to get in touch with, and helpful with local info. House has pretty much everything you need for regular living. Would definitely return.

Absolutely beautiful and serene!

When I arrived at the Boathouse my first impression was "what an absolutely adorable cottage"! The cottage is immaculate and so charming! The hydrangeas were in full bloom! The pictures on this site are a true representation of the place but really it is more magnificent in person! I loved being in the boro and spent every morning sitting in the window seat drinking my coffee watching the town come alive! The owner is extremely cordial and very accommodating. The added benefit of off-street parking was the extra caveat. After renting this cottage I have decided to make Stonington Borough my forever! Every time I drive by the boathouse I can't help but smile! This is truly a hidden gem as is the town! Thank you Deb and Tom for everything!

Wonderful stay

Stayed at The Boathouse for the off season between selling and buying a new home. It was very comfortable and came with everything you need for an extended stay. Thoroughly enjoyed gas fireplace on cold mornings and farmers market on weekends. Convenient to Stonington village with great restaurants and also 5 minutes to I 95. Owners were quite accommodating and took care of any problems quickly. Highly recommend this place for both short term or long term rental.

Stonington Jewel

The Boat House exceeds all expectations with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, thoughtful design, and even a Keurig coffee maker! Storage abounds. Location is perfect for a stroll through Stonington Borough which has great restaurants, shops and water views. The Dog Watch restaurant is steps away. A waterside gazebo in the Borough is a great place for quiet reflection. The property is clean and well maintained by the owners who obviously take pride in their charming cottage, and who are always available, friendly and helpful. .

"THE BOAT HOUSE"

Location, location, location! My stay at this property was everything I wanted during my visit to Stonington. The location is at the beginning of the Village which gives you a pleasant walk through the Village ending at the Lighthouse and Dubois Beach with a magnificant view of the ocean. All the way, you will find eateries, shops of all sorts, and pleasant residents to chat with. The owners of the property accommodate in any way that they can. I look forward to returning to this charming accommodation.
