Horrible Filthy Unit
1 star for the apartment complex and amenities they provide which is great. 0 stars for the actual host and unit which is filthy.
The unit needs a major deep clean and was absolutely filthy when we arrived. We spent 4+ hours vacuuming, mopping and sanitizing the entire place. The carpet has multiple stains, the linens are unwashed and raggedy. The furniture is falling apart. The items in the kitchen are all rusted. The vents and windows are filled with dust. We went and bought everything we'd need to use during our stay including bedding and kitchen items.
We shared pictures and videos of everything with the host the day we checked-in and let them know the place needs a major deep clean. The day we checked out, the host emailed us with a picture of a stain reported by their cleaners and that we'd be charged $170 to deep clean. I showed them our interaction during check-in where I pointed out that exact same stain and the host responded by saying "thank you for letting us know."
VRBO should remove all listings from this host until someone confirms that the place is sanitary and safe for future guests.
Everyone should stay away from booking anything with this host.
