About this property
Trees and Trades - minutes from Canton Trade Days!
Trees and Trades cottage is a lock-off "apartment" of a newly renovated home. Entry to your space is located through the door located under the carport at the left side of the house. You will have access to a private bedroom/living room, kitchenette, and spacious bathroom. The resident of the house will be present in the other part of the home but will not have access to your private area. There is a separate entrance to your retreat (the resident will enter the other part of the home through a different entrance), and you will be able to park your vehicle under a car port to help protect it against weather and the hot Texas sun.
The space is comfortable and fresh. You will have access to control air conditioning to make the space as comfortable as you desire. You are provided with a closet and chest of drawers to store your clothing. The queen bed is comfortable, and all linens (with extras) are provided. There is a sitting area with couch, chair, and coffee table, as well as a TV so that you can relax in the evenings after a long day shopping and exploring. The couch can be opened into a single bed sleeping unit.
The kitchenette is outfitted with a stove and cooktop, sink and refrigerator. We have provided dinnerware, flatware, drinkware, pots and pans, bake ware, and utensils so that, if you desire, you can cook your meals in the comfort of this home. There is a small table so you can enjoy sit-down meals or a cup of coffee with a newspaper. A coffee pot has been provided for your convenience, and coffee and creamer are provided as a free perk and a thank-you for staying with us.
Beyond the kitchenette is a new large bathroom, complete with step-in shower. Bath linens are included, and you are provided with body soap, shampoo, conditioner, and use of a hair dryer for your convenience. The door to the remainder of the house is locked from your side and cannot be opened by the owner of the home.

About the host
Hosted by Trent Lovette

The main home is a family homestead, and is currently occupied by the granddaughter of the original owners. We wanted to respect this heritage but also allow for additional use of the home by creating a rental space "cottage". Thus was born Trees and Trades Cottage.
What makes this property unique
The home is on acreage. Cows can be found in the fields around the home. There is an old potato shed on the property as well as multiple other buildings reminiscent of an old homestead farm.
