Everything about our stay was smooth & seamless! You would never have known someone lived upstairs even! Everything was as advertised & we would definitely stay there again. As long as you dont need a kitchen this place is great for the price!
We were not happy at all with the property. The first night was fine. We got up early and left for sightseeing but the second night was not. We discovered there was no door between where we were staying and upstairs, where Christopher and friends were staying. The second night there was yelling from upstairs that made us very very uncomfortable. We left very very early the next morning and contacted Christopher about a refund. He denied our refund, there were several issues — no door between where we stayed and he stayed which we realized if his doors were unlocked, our doors were unlocked as well. That was never mentioned by Christopher or described in the description — doesn’t that make it a bed and breakfast not a true Vrbo. Also small lights on the wall that during the night would come on and go off all night long until we finally had to disconnect them - there were gates that locked the driveway. However, we had to park out on the street and that was uncomfortable considering the neighborhood —Alexa plugged in into rooms was not comforting either, so we unplugged both of those. I would really not recommend this place as far as security and comfort only because there is no door that separates the basement apartment from his upstairs apartment , and again the neighborhood did not look the safest, even if he claimed that it was . We were not happy at all unfortunately with only staying 2 nights instead of the 3 and even though we did contact the owner no refund was give
This is a very basic place to stay. Communication with owner was very responsive and easy. I don't really know Baltimore that well so I can't say much about the neighborhood but once on the property with the gates secured I never felt unsafe. The only thing I wish I had known ahead of time was the separation between the owners living quarters and the rental area is only separated by a couple pull down blinds. No door, no lock. While I never even saw the owner during my stay I can definitely see how the lack of true privacy could be unsettling for some. It didn't really bother me and I had an overall fine stay and would stay again if I'm back in Baltimore. Just be aware, the mini fridge and microwave is all that's there as far as food and drink storage and preparation - no coffee maker or stove/oven so plan accordingly.
My husband and I had a lovely stay at Christophers place. He was quick to respond to messages and was very accommodating. The apartment was cozy, clean and comfortable and the hot tub was perfect. Convenient location as well. We would definitely stay here again, thank you very much for your hospitality, Christopher!
This was just as VRBO should be! Communication was great. Ken onsite was wonderful answering all our questions. Security tech worked as shown. Our stay was clean and attractive and so very comfortable! Would stay there again if its available again.
